Nick Notarangelo Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=bz-nO6WvOYw I came across this and thought I would share it. Now if my girls could only find my 75 buick regal.
JamesW Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 (edited) I seen the actual commercial this morning. My first car was nothing special (78 T-Bird), and although my dad is gone I would love to find his 70 Duster. Edited November 13, 2011 by grimreaper
Robert81 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 My first car was a hunk of Junk, I know it's been turned into something else long ago.
slantasaurus Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Yeah, do you think in 40 years anyone will feel that way about a Volt ???

george 53 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Wasn't my FIRST car, but it is my favorite, My 69 Black on Black on Black Charger R/T 4 spd. PRETTIEST car I've EVER owned!
lordairgtar Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 My old friends, grammar and spelling, have suffered critical injuries in this thread. What did they ever do to you? Hmmm. I just posted one sentence. After looking it over, I see it is not my grammar you are referring to.
Robert81 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 My old friends, grammar and spelling, have suffered critical injuries in this thread. What did they ever do to you? Who invited the Grammer Nazi? This is Suppose to be fun, Don't sweat the Small stuff and enjoy yourself, Buzz Killington.
Agent G Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 '62 Pontiac Catalina with 421 SD engine. It was originally white with green interior and was painted that awful GM lt metallic green somewher along the line. I was on Okinawa and Dad sent a letter saying some guy wanted it. I said sell her, and bank the money. G
sjordan2 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 This is pretty much identical to my first car. A mechanical PITA, and probably helped put my mechanic's kids through school, but I loved it more than any other car I've owned.
kitbash1 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 My first car was a 69 Nova. 6 cyl auto, bought it off of the teacher who ran the A.V. dept. in my high school. Nice car. Wish I could find another one.
Rob Hall Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 My first car was an '86 Mustang LX 2.3. Don't miss it. My second car (which was my first new car), was an '87 Mustang GT..still have it.
Luc Janssens Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Don't want my first car back, but this one, I loved every minute of driving it, it was fast....but sadly ended on the scrap yard, due to some idiot slamming into me cuz he didn't see the light was red! sigh...
bentmetal Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 That was so cool. I got my first car when i was 16(1973). It was a white on white 1965 Chevy Impala SS. I had just enough extra to put on hijacker air shocks and ET slotted mags. Sure looked good but with a 283/powerglide - not a lot of go for such a big car. Ended up parting it out after a couple of wrecks. Would love to have another one. Have the revell kit I am going to build as a replica of it--- guess I will start that now.
moparfarmer Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 First car was a 65 Valiant Signet 2 dr ht. Slant/3spd manual on the column. Dark blue/blue interior. Bought for $1350, sold to the neighbors grand son for $2850. Been buying and selling on the side since. Was a good car.
Foxer Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Yeah, my first car was a '51 Plymouth that never started in the winter .. I sure how it went to the crusher!
Swifster Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 My first car was a '75 Monte Carlo. I trashed that car and never really cared. It was the cars I could of had or tried to buy that I lament. My dad had a '74 VW Thing and offered it to me. But I scared myself crazy trying to drive a stick. A retiree from GM was selling his '67 Pontiac Grand Prix and wanted $1500. Buy the time I came back it was gone... I wouldn't mind my first new car back. It was a '86 Ford Escort GT. I had a lot of fun with it. If anyone has a CarFax account, the VIN is 1FABP33J5GW205174. I still know it by heart...
