Guest Gramps-xrds Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Finally got it finished last night. It's only been sittin on the shelf for 48 yrs. so today I got some pix outside. I may do some lettering on it if I still have some lettering enamel that hasn't turned ta jelly
Nate Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Very nice! This is one of my favorite kits. Too bad they had to butcher it for that stupid Barnabas Vampire Van, or whatever it was called. By way, I heard that kit is about to be re-issued.
LAone Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 wow, i like that color. it pops in the light. well double wow with the fact that is 48 years old!
Greg Pugh Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Very nice job! If it wasn't for the house in your background, you could pass that off for the real thing. Nice diorama!!!
krazyglu Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Very cool kit that I have never seen....then again its nearly twice my age I love the color and the kit, but the little diorama is just way to cool Bill. I agree if you angled your camera slightly different it would look 1:1. Thanks for sharing
crazyjim Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Gorgeous in front of your diorama. What color is that? I like the SHINY :)
Dr. Cranky Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Very nice model. I love the backdrop in the pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Peter Lombardo Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Hey, what took you so long? Seriously, it looks great...love the color choice. I think you need to speed up the process though.

Erik Smith Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Nice overall look and build. I like the diorama too.
Guest Gramps-xrds Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I'd like ta take the time to thank everyone for the very nice comments. I'm glad you all liked it. After sitting on the shelf in primer for so long, I lost a few of the parts and had ta fabricate some, but all in all I'm pleased with the result. Gorgeous in front of your diorama. What color is that? I like the SHINY :) Jim that color is just candy purple over silver on the fenders and candy purple with pearl added for the lighter color.
David G. Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Excellent build and a cool diorama to boot! David G.
Modellpularn Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 A cool model! Looks very good in that diorama. I have to get something done with some of my projects this winter, including one like this. And a spinoff from the Barnabas van.
