Harry P. Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Not sure what to make of the "churchy" music, but check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtHH0mkh-I0&feature=player_embedded More info here: http://www.foxnews.c...eatures#slide=6
moparmagiclives Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I'm diigin the wiper set up, thats pretty cool. But I think he's loosing to much power through that pump, needs to get him self a penta out drive That thing just screams brittish spy car with those retractable rocket/machine gun ports...I'm not sure why he had them filled with mountain bikes..lol
george 53 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 If it only holds ONE person, why does it need TWO bikes? How does he see OVER the bow plane? He looks to be sitting pretty low in the cockpit to see over it. Just a rich mans toy. I'd rather have a airplane.
Scale-Master Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 The more things it is supposed to do, the less well it can do any of them... I agree, looks best suited for a fantasy spy movie.
Dr. Cranky Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Yeah, I don't get the bikes either. I wish this one would have been a car/submersible vehicle. I agree it is very cool. I wonder how long all that metal would last in pristine condition. I guess you have to soap and wash of the salt water.

I bet the salt water corrosion/barnacle look would catch on pretty quick, "sea-steam punk" ???
robertw Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Calm water, didn't go far from shore. First ship larger then a row boat would run over this thing like a beer can and not even see it. This is proof of the adage, "just because you can, doesn't mean you should"!
peter31a Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Indeed. The whole time I was thinking: My name is Bond, James Bond and this is my car....
1930fordpickup Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 How do you see in front of you ? Kind of cool though .
Harry P. Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 did i see a Mazda carburated rotary engine in there?? It is a Mazda rotary. Click on the link in my first post for more photos and information.
Joe Handley Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 So when to the mini guns or torpedoes pop out? Once you ditch the bikes, those side pods would work well to hide those! Should paint it green and add an Agent P vanity plate to it
Chuck Most Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 How do you see in front of you ? Kind of cool though . Reminds me of the VW Vanagon houseboat Richard Hammond made in an old UK Top Gear episode.
Lownslow Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 haha i know those bikes its those crappy hummer folding bikes
Junkman Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I'd much, and I do mean, much, prefer my father's Amphicar. And yes, he really had one back in the days.
Danno Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 That goofy car/boat is all wet. And if he tries to market such a dinghy idea, he'll be awash in a sea of debt, sink his future and eventually be all washed up.
David G. Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 It's very cool, but I'd still much rather have a 1989 Batmobile. David G.

Who knows, there may be a wave of buyers...
Foxer Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 That is so low and the color of water ... maybe RED paint would let it last longer before getting sliced in half by a power boat!
Danno Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 He might avoid an ocean of debt if he can float a loan. Who knows, there may be a wave of buyers... Troubled waters ahead. I think his design is all wet.
