wisdonm Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 There is a guy that makes 1/25 models, but only sells them as finished models.
mikelo Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 This is a good one considering the fit of the panels on the actual car are worse than a scaled down version. Mike
george 53 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I didn't know anyone MADE a Bricklin. I went with REAL!
rmvw guy Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I'm not seeing any image, only a little box with a red X. Oh what the heck......REAL.
timc Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I say real. The fins on the wheels are to hard to get right in small scale.
Ryan S. Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 The antenna and something about the front reflector...I'm saying real.
blunc Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Having actually been in a Bricklin once I can attest to the lousy fit and finish of these cars, they had Ford engines, I forget who made the rest of the drive train. I vote real also.
CorvairJim Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Part of Malcolm Bricklin's ideal "Safety Vehicle" (that's the "SV" in the car's SV-1 model name) was to paint them in very visible colors - the brighter the better. That car IS an exremely bright yellow, isn't it? It's also extremely REAL!!! (BTW: Although this isn't it, I did find a reference to a diecast Bricklin SV-1 in 1:43 by Automodello if anyone's interested. It's on the pricey side, starting at 89 Euros and going up from there.)
wisdonm Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Here is the factory: http://www.thebricklinfactory.com/ And just like the real ones, you can order one with the AMC or Ford engine.
TooOld Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 The body panels don't fit and it has BF Goodrich T/A Radials on it . Real .
Joe Handley Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I saw one of these in person a few weeks back........looks better than that one! I do think that one was a survivor though..........
Guest Johnny Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I say real. The fins on the wheels are to hard to get right in small scale. That is why I chose real plus what George said!
