I thought I had a topic about this model but I can't find it...

This is a model about a 1:1 car that I owned years ago. After I sold it I built this model. I tried to create all details. I used AMT' 62 convertible as a base. Roof is from some old kit.

About those orange things... Those are called vent window reflectors. If you check this link, you can see a photo about 1:1 thing.

I changed those to orange at my 1:1 car. At model I used simply clear thin tape and orange marker pen.

Great stance, nice paint, accurate weathering and tons of other details including the improvised side window treatment - absolutely spectacular work. I would've never thought to use baby moons on a rocketbird, but obviously they work! Another talented builder to learn from...

Very nice work!

I'm got something very similar on the way. I'm using the 62 promo and have painted it in these same colours.

This is the type of build I love .. something you owned! .. and you did a spectacular job on this! The engine compartment is especially well done.

Very impressive! Nice work fitting that roof. Love all the little details, especially those vent window deflectors. Forgot all about those things; don't think I've ever seen them in scale before!
