Bought an AMT Corvair Funny Car. This is one I never had as a kid. Had a coupon for a  semi-local hobby store(in Tempe, I'm in Glendale) and honestly there wasn't a great selection so I decided to get this instead of another duplicate.

I also bought a Badger Paint Mixer. For as long as my paint sits unused this might be the most economical purchase I have ever made. Of course I will have to actually paint a model to get my money's worth out of it.

Also got another Touch and Flow system. I have another one somewhere, but I have no clue where and I think I need to use one. Last attempt using liquid cement was pretty much a failure using the supplied brush in the bottle.

And a small supply of sandpaper for my Flex-i-File.  Now to find the tool. Hmmm, that seems to be a common thread with me.

Got two of the new Revell 29 roadster kits and have another six coming. The 6 worked out to about 17 each.

Saw my favorite model dealer at my club meeting tonight.  He was all out of Torinos so I grabbed his last '29 roadster (my 3rd) and an extra 57 Ford wagon kit.

Received my Starsky and Hutch Torino and Prepainted 2014 Corvette from Model Roundup. Bought a 66 Ford Galaxie at HL last night. Very slim on stock to choose from now at my location but that was the kit i was after...

The aforementioned '58 Fairlane arrived Saturday - as I had hoped, there's enough usable for a conversion on one of my convertibles. The black and blue paint has various shades of red, yellow and more blue underneath; I gently chipped/peeled away several layers on the roof to reveal some light coarse grit sanding scratches - but the seven grooves were intact. Interior came out with some grinding on the posts, but the windshield is glued on the A-pillars so the photoetched saw will get a workout again. Right now the purple stuff is at work on the body and interior, so we'll see what happens later.

By the way, I once asked on the forum about the spacing on the roof grooves - if you need to do a conversion to a '57 roof, they're all spaced 7.5 mm apart. The more you know...

This has been on my bucket list list for a long time, but at 1/25 .. not 1/43 as this Neo model is. I had a '72 Vovlo 145 which I have been looking for something to build it with. I recently saw this Neo 145 at 1/43 and figured this was all I'd ever find. It IS small .. the first 1/43 model I've bought. But, the detail IS amazing for the size. Guess time to get some Volvo Dark Blue and just paint it.

Ive obtained some really nice kits this weekend. Given I'm a mustang fan, I got two of the Imsa mustangs at a decent price $28 for both. I got my holy grail kit finally! AN Amt 65 riviera , the back bumper chrome was faded , but nothing a little alclad can't fix. And then I bought a Amt 58 impala for $8 bucks lol.  It's been a great week.

I'm building that GTO kit right now. Wish I had an early version - this one has flash everyone, including all the chromed parts, and has sink marks all over.

It is a rusty circular piece of tin with holes in it. Not sure where I got it. Thought it could be a floor drain. I suppose it should be inset a bit. It is out of scale anyway. Any floor  drain that big would likely be square or rectangular.

I just got this one in yesterday. This'll complete the collection of the Street Demons series. I guess I didn't have to get all of these in the SD line up as all of those kits have been released numerous times with several different schemes and options but I just wanted 'em for nostalgia's sake. I had all these as a kid but only built like two full kits with two others partially built before chucking 'em in the trash. It's just nice to take a trip down memory lane I guess.
