If you mean the Revell show rods, they can scarcely be found in the US, either. I paid dearly for those and never looked back. The hell of it is that now I have to decide to build them or not...I also have a T-Bone Stake that is a re-builder. Maybe I'll scratch the itch that way. Still looking for the Meter Cheater.

I have them all, but the Der Guber Wagon and Meter Cheater are glue bombs. Luckily I have extra parts from picking up stuff over the years!

Hey! Atlantis! Dig them up!!

I think we are all snagging those Fords from HL! I just picked one up today, and it was the only one they had!

I'm happy to have four of the five. I've got one minty T-Bone Stake and a gluey parts car which I used to supplement my Moon Mixer which had some important delicate parts broken in shipping.  Along with the Patent Pending which is open but mint,  I also have a un-built 1979 Advent release called The Medicine Man. The der Guber Wagen is sealed mint. I read somewhere on this forum that the Guber Wagen was modified to make the T-Bone if I recall correctly. I also would love to see all of these kits reissued so everyone can enjoy them at reasonable prices.

Found this over the weekend at a community garage sale. $10 CDN, factory sealed.

That's almost like...FREE in US currency. :)

Rolled the dice on an auction and picked up this IMC Mark IV kit. Received last night and after a quick inventory it appears all of the parts are in the box. Subassemblies started and painted. Want to strip a lot of the brush-painted parts and re-shoot. Didn't have a lot of time last night, but was excited enough to spend an hour or so sanding injector pin marks of the inside on the body panels and mold lines off the rear fenders. Decals are toast so need to check out what Indycals has available.

There hasn't been any at the Hobby Lobby I've gone to 2 weeks ago and Monday this week. Maybe someday.

And Hobby Lobby has them on line but sold out. So who knows if they will ever be in the stores now.

Everybody says that Hobby Lobby has the same kits for ever and ever, so eventually there should be some sitting on the shelf. None at the one near me but I haven't checked for a few weeks.

Mine had a lot, but didn’t have the sale so I left it. Now I wish I would have grabbed one.

Wondering through You All Mart yesterday and found a 1/27th Jeep Gladiator pickup that looks more like a 1/25th next to what is sitting on the work bench. For $10.97 it is a steal. Metal body with nice detailing on the body and the pop out interior and bed as well. Got it disassembled and looking at colors to replace the Olive Drab shade of Green on it now.

The one in my area has had them for awhile, just finally decided to get one, ya know... since it was the last one on the shelf! I'm sure they will be replenished.

A few years ago I bought a couple of the original 1960 and 1963 kits thinking we'd never see them issued again. I don't need any more of them, but I buy them to encourage Round 2 to continue this good work!

While in another town, I stopped at Walmart for something and they had a small display of kits so I had to buy one to encourage them to keep selling them. I got this Bronco which I'd been waiting to see if Hobby Lobby would carry.

My Walmart has about 15 different kits right now. Most I had already but they had quite a few.

Since they're all the rage, I picked one up. The only one. 20240628_174130.jpg.a7f7eacc639851b2e8092cf70a72b1e1.jpg

I picked mine up today as well since HL was on sale. It’s not bad for a round2 new tooling. The body though the chrome trimming doesn’t go all the way around in the corners as you see on the box.  So that’s gonna need fixing to look right, and the mold lines everywhere, and sink mark galore, and the panel lines are almost non existent.  The chrome looks nice, but little thick too along with bad placement of gates.  I just go into a new tooled kit with high expectations. I’m just being picky, but it is a nice quality kit that I’m sure will go together no problems. Hardest part is gonna be figuring out if I wanna do a solid color or two tone lol.

I had to have the 71 Demon to replicate my high school buddy's car. Man, he flogged the poo out of that poor Dodge! I had also been wanting a later model Corvair  for awhile. (And I grabbed the Monza 2+2 - because Roadkill.)

This kit has a nicer chassis than any of the other H-body kits. I have always preferred the MPC bodies. With their promo roots, they're very accurate!

Nice to know info about the chassis and body. Thank you.
