do these kits come with engines or trailers? and where do ou get them?

They all have turbine engines except for the Ace boat which has a twin turbo V12 (I think), no trailers but do have a display stand.

Wow, those bring me back.  Remember watching the races every year on Lake Washington.  Gonna have to run down some piston boat kits, if i can find any.

They were something.  As well as the Blue Angels doing their show.  Still happens but we don't want to fight the traffic and crowds up to Puget Sound to see the show.  Different when we lived there.

They are definitely something to watch and see in person

Ive decided to get into using my new airbrush here soon

And finding these colors in rattle cans is tough  / and expensive

This car is on my short list to do here soon.

How about clear top coats ,

Scalefinishes website says Tamiya’s primers made after 2022 are not compatible with their base paints. I’ve been using Mr. Surfacer (Gunze) spray lacquer primers (1200, 1500) with Scalefinishes base paints and they seem to work fine. For clearcoats over the Scalefinishes base paints, I’ve had the best results and minimal decal compatibility issues by airbrushing Mr Color (Gunze) GX-100 Super Clear III lacquer clear coat thinned 50/50 with Mr Color Leveling Thinner. I previously used Tamiya’s TS-13 rattle-can lacquer clear coat but  found it occasionally “too hot” for the Scalefinishes metallics (reacting in spots causing uneven splotching of the metallic) as well as eating the decals when a wet coat is applied (even after multiple thin dry coats). Hope this helps!

Those greens look cool - good luck!

Arrived yesterday from Iceman Collections,a 1/12 scale 3D printed 69'Z28 RS grille and taillights.IMG_7293.JPG.dd4a9eaf8ebd79b0d8e57fddbe6dddc5.JPG

I just loosely put the grille in and fit is pretty good, now if someone would 3d printed the base hood, lots of possibilities for sure.🤠IMG_7294.JPG.5d2862b4b022b670fdf829a065982cf0.JPG

Cool! I gotta get me a few.... Although I kinda wonder if that Z/28 emblem is in the right location.... It needs to be centered with the hood stripe....🤔

Picked this up for a great price since they are starting to get pricey. The box is damaged. All the parts are off the trees and it looks the roof was painted at one time, but it’s all there.

Nice kit, and was an easy build. Unfortunately mine had a cracked front windshield that I still need to replace.

My sole purchase from the Spring Daytona Turkey Run show. '55 Ford Victoria promo. The right fender has some warpage, but all in all not bad at all. I think it's fixable.

Finally, after 50 years of rattle cans, I am taking a dive into airbrushing. Look for stupid airbrush questions real soon. No, really. I have no clue what I am doing.

Here is what I got this week. Artillery wheels are from Mean Machine Models on Ebay. This is my second order from them and have not any problems at all. I got the artillery rims for the Revell 1941 Chevy pickup the rims also come with 3 different center caps.

Decided to order some frames so that I could start displaying some of my magazine appearances before the magazines get too beat up.

I'm not one for saving a bunch of magazines anyway, so this will be a way to save some of that stuff indefinitely, and where I can enjoy them.

I have another half dozen or so frames on order so I can finish up my wall. :P

My wife ran to Michael’s today and brought these back for me - they were $2 each on clearance:

The fact that my wife knows enough about my hobby to know that I have a use for these AND the fact that she tried to pick colors that would be useful for car builds tells me I lucked into a pretty good wife…
