bandit1 Posted Monday at 11:11 PM Posted Monday at 11:11 PM Got a pair of 2 wheel drive conversion sets for the MPC squarebody trucks... Now to get a Sod Buster and a 2 wd transmission to build a model of a special truck I had a hand in helping to restore before my uncle passed away a couple years later 6

Been thinking of buying a couple but the price has me a little bit put off. 1
Keef Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM When working out of town I always hit up the local Walmart, mainly looking for HotWheels. I stopped at the one in Athens Tennessee today and looked at hot wheels. Didn’t find anything that I wanted so as I turned around to leave there they were on an end cap behind me. The Camaro was $11, Demon was $15, Coronet Vert was $17 so I doubled down and got 6 kits out the door for basically $15.83 each. 6

Zen Posted Thursday at 01:59 PM Posted Thursday at 01:59 PM Recently acquired .......... What makes this an Z28 E? Not familiar with the E part. 1

'E' designated Export, primarily for Europe on the 1:1 3rd gen. Not sure what the visible differences would have been (perhaps mirrors, rear fog lights, amber turn signals, wide license plate brackets. etc maybe?), but I don't think Monogram provided them.
Carmak Posted Thursday at 04:43 PM Posted Thursday at 04:43 PM Swung by a local vintage shop yesterday and found this gem. Hardly cost more than a new kit. The body is a bone stock 72 Charger Hardtop with no door indents and not a Rallye like the MPC (Rod Shop) annual. 7
oldcarfan Posted Thursday at 05:26 PM Posted Thursday at 05:26 PM Got an order in from Texas 3D. The 57 ford F100 conversion set for the AMT 60 Ford and an off road set with driving lights and winch. The price is good, they were well packaged, and they arrived quickly and with no damage. 7

Cool Hand Posted Friday at 06:50 AM Posted Friday at 06:50 AM I wanted these specific Pegasus wheels and the only place I could find multiple sets was out of the US from Mark Twain Hobby Centre on ebay. 3
tbill Posted Friday at 09:51 AM Posted Friday at 09:51 AM Been acquiring 1/8 kits this year, finally snagged one of these for a price I could live with 7

This is the intake in the Baker NASCAR Charger kit. These were tough pics to get as the parts are still in the bags. The intake is part of the black "generic" parts and not part of the white Charger specific parts. 1
Robberbaron Posted yesterday at 02:50 AM Posted yesterday at 02:50 AM Michael's has a 40% coupon on their website right now, so stopped by after work and picked up an MPC '68 Coronet hardtop. (Sure not gonna pay the $39.99 list price.) 1
RSchnell Posted yesterday at 06:41 PM Posted yesterday at 06:41 PM Hit up Modelpalooza this morning. I wasn't really needing anything, but it's a nice way to spend a Saturday morning. These followed me home for less than $20 each. I couldn't refuse! 4
meechum68 Posted yesterday at 07:52 PM Posted yesterday at 07:52 PM So today I got to do a bit of shopping. The dodge's, the Pontiac, the S-10, the Nissan, primer, and leveling and 2 diplay cases came from my VERY local LHS, the one that is closing, got things at 20% off, and I love the break, but hate knowing he's retiring in march, but so happy he's retiring! The Z-28 was an Ollie's find. The Porsche and Skyline, and 2 clears, blue, white and black are all from my other LHS in Tulsa. I really wanted to spend more at Very local LHS, but today I was super limited. Really wanted 2 more of the S-10 and the last Pontiac he had in stock. 1
64SS350 Posted yesterday at 09:06 PM Posted yesterday at 09:06 PM Back from vending and buying at Plastic Under Cover show near Akron, Ohio . Found a very nicely 3D printed Ferrari Spyder kit, Porsche 917K kit, and was next to Mike from MCW, who had some Nassau Blue I needed for the 64 Chevy 4x4 build. 2
