I keep telling myself that too but I'm not having much luck.. ? so here's the last two weeks worth of trying not to buy.. ? The Starsky & Hutch kit ended up being a freebie. The sellers description stated it was complete along with one photo of a closed box. I never buy with those circumstances but I did. When I alerted the seller that it was missing the engine components and the driveshaft (no big deal because of the deal I got) but I was ok with the purchase and that I was not looking to return it or a refund. To my surprise they gave me a total refund.. Cool but now I feel bad. My plan was to go back and buy a sealed kit but that doesn't remedy the situation that I bought, I received and didn't actually pay. So I'm leaning towards the idea to mail the cash to their address with a note which will clear my conscience. Call me old fashioned.. ✌? 4

I have built one and it was a fun challenge with the metalparts. Easier then I thought. To bad they dont have done a rerelease because I want to build more of them. Got this today a resin bullnose kenworth cab. Edited September 30, 2023 by PierreR89 2

Back about 25 years ago I actually had an '82 S/E Firebird tried to find one of those kits with no luck. Later I was very disappointed to find out it was just the Trans Am kit with a standard hood.

Bill Eh? Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Today was the Group 25 Model Car Contest. After helping with the setting up, I bought 12 raffle tickets. During my time in the vendor room, I bought some kits from great friends/vendors, including some wheel and tire sets. After helping with the judging, I thought best check my raffle tickets before heading home. It was a good thing that I did because I won four kits as raffle prizes. The first pics are my kit purchases. The next pics are the wheel and tire sets. The last pics are my raffle prizes. I am extremely happy with my raffle wins as the tickets only cost me $10. 7 1
RSchnell Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Had a couple 40% Michaels coupons about to expire: 4
OldNYJim Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Blaming @Ace-Garageguy for this one (although I guess I DID want one for a while before he posted his last week…) Interesting side-note - this kit had the strongest styrene smell when I opened the (sealed) box that I’ve ever smelled from a kit. Not sure what that means… 2
atomicholiday Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Stopped in at the LHS while we were in Traverse City and picked this up. I’m not really into big rigs, but I’ve been eyeing these for a while. Looks like a cool way to display half a dozen cars. 4
