Tom Geiger Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Just found out that i am owed money from the State of MI from 1999!!! We did that a while ago. I found that I was owed money in the state of NJ. It just tells you that much, not how much money or from where. To claim it I had to fill out a form, have it notarized and mail it registered to the state office. That all cost me about $15. What was due me? $2.50 interest from an old bank account!

Mine is from restuition? from an old court case. I left a new address when i moved out of state but guess it was never recorded. I do know i was awarded several hundred dollars from the outcome of the court case. Worth a shot i guess.
Racephoto1 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Sorry no photos. I picked up a Stutz Blackhawk Etzel kit (my holy grail) , some Etzel Halibrand dirt wheels and tires, and some old Speed Age magazines. This was at the IPMS show in Indy. American Racing miniatures is doing a great job on the Etzel stuff. I know where I'll be spending more cash.
crazyjim Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 FAST was busy with a model display at the Marion County Tax Collector's 4th annual car show. A 1:1 guy asked about a kit he had, went home and got it. A Jo-Han 1964 Cadillac deVille convertible. I bought it and can already see bucket seats and wire wheels. I also might try doing one of those fancy low rider paint jobs on it.
mikemodeler Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 A box from Modelroundup with the new AMT 70 Chevelle, the Mobeius truck wheel kit, and a couple of Pegasus wheel kits. If the weather would stay nice for more than a day or two I might get some stuff painted!
cobraman Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 After a trip to the movies ( saw "Non Stop " ) me and the wife went to Hobby Lobby which is right across the road. Picked up the 1/16 "T" as an impulse buy and with the 40 % off I paid about 22 dollars for it. The Cobra I bought well, because it's a Cobra. A set of AMT slicks and a organizer for some of my spare parts. The second photo shows a bunch of stuff I bought for some armor dioramas I plan on building.
1930fordpickup Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Got this 'thing' for a diorama I am planning. After this winter I need one of these !

jrherald420 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 The Ford Probe kit is soooooo ugly...........its kinda cool. lol I remember when it was released.
Tom Geiger Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) At the risk of being labeled again, I will post my latest acquisition. This is a Premier 1960 Valiant kit that a buddy-0-mine in Arizona picked up for me. I already had another two of these, so why did I need another.. well first was the $10 price. And second... It's molded in a swirl-a-delic plastic. The other two I have are molded in straight gray plastic. This one is different and cool. Does anyone do a photo etch kit for this one? and as far as Premier quality... look at these two sides, especially in the window area. Not even close. Where Johans were done from factory blueprints, Premiers were done from memory! And you guys have the nerve to complain about today's new models! So it's just another bit for the grand Valiant collection. Of course I'm not even going to attempt to build it. Edited March 18, 2014 by Tom Geiger
slusher Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Tom, I have not seen that kitt before, older then me I am sure. Are they highly collectable??

Daddyfink Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Jesse, is the Blue Thunder Helicopter kit based on the move Blue Thunder.?? I have not seen that kit before. It is more based on the T.V. Show 'Blue Thunder", which spun off the movie. But otherwise, it is the same chopper. Just needs a J.A.F.O.! LOL!
Daddyfink Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 The Ford Probe kit is soooooo ugly...........its kinda cool. lol I remember when it was released. Yes, it sure is and so is the Dodge!
