Craig Irwin Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 There is NO time when snow is needed or wanted as far as I'm concerned.
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) There is NO time when snow is needed or wanted as far as I'm concerned. Right. Who in his right mind would EVER want to see anything like this?? Edited December 24, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
Chuck Most Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 ^THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!^ It can take a hike the other 363 days of the year, though, as far as I'm concerned.
crazyjim Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 It's raining cats and dogs here. If the temperature dropped about 50 degrees, we'd be in a snowstorm right now. It's 79 degrees outside.
Craig Irwin Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Right. Who in his right mind would EVER want to see anything like this?? Looks downright nasty ugly to me.
Joe Handley Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 After last winter, no thanks, at least not in mass quantitys again.........
oldnslow Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Yep, sitting around on the front porch in shorts and flip flops, 78 degrees and loving it!
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Wow, you guys are Scrooges. Snow is great.
High octane Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Snow IS beautiful, but my feelings wouldn't be hurt if I didn't hafta use my snow shovel or snow-thrower all winter long. I'm gettin' old for that.
Joe Handley Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Wow, you guys are Scrooges. Snow is great. Nope, just tired and sore...........and still have a couple things to wrap once I get the ambition to go upstairs...........hope I don't.take another nap!
martinfan5 Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 ^THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!^ It can take a hike the other 363 days of the year, though, as far as I'm concerned. I agree with Chuck here, I would like two days of snow, but after that, no thank you.
Guest Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Wow, you guys are Scrooges. Snow is great. No, we are 50+ years old and tired of it and the cold. Wait till you are our age.
Agent G Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I agree with Chuck here, I would like two days of snow, but after that, no thank you. X2, although snow on palm trees looks wierd. G
Chuck Most Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Snow > mud, which is all I've got up here after about 36 hours straight of rain. Those are May 25th conditions, not December 25th.
High octane Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 My grandson was over this morning opening gifts that were left for him from Santa, and a lot of the toys were a "bear" to open. Why must the packaging be "bulletproof?"
Craig Irwin Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 No, we are 50+ years old and tired of it and the cold. Wait till you are our age. I'm 60 and I never liked cold weather.
Tom Geiger Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I agree with Chuck here, I would like two days of snow, but after that, no thank you. Nuthin wrong with a little snow to add color! I said "a LITTLE snow."
Pete J. Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) It's Christmas! Enjoy the day and let any annoyances pass on by! Merry Christmas. Edited December 25, 2014 by Pete J.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 2 degrees is warm. I've never been bothered by the cold.
martinfan5 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 WalMart Cashier not activating a gift card I bought, and of course the receipt has gone MIA, only proof I have is my bank account showing the charge
slusher Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 (edited) Wow, you guys are Scrooges. Snow is great. When I was your age I liked snow and shoveled all day long no blower. I remember the 79 blizzard in Chicago... Snow IS beautiful, but my feelings wouldn't be hurt if I didn't hafta use my snow shovel or snow-thrower all winter long. I'm gettin' old for that. Been away from snow and got older so I don't want to see snow either Nick. Here in the south people can't drive in 2 inches... Edited December 29, 2014 by slusher
slusher Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 2 degrees is warm. I've never been bothered by the cold. The cold does not bother me being from the mid west but when you get my age and older snow is not fun....
spotarama Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 decided to change the handlebars and headlight on my m/cycle today (back to ones i used to have on there- non stock but much better configuration) and do you think they'd fit.....no bl**dy chance, not happy, now i get to spend tomorrow sorting it instead of actually riding itand by the way, if anyone tells you LED lights are the eway to go on bikes/cars, don't believe them....you can see the lights from the moon but you can't see 10 feet in front of you with them, back to good old halogens for me
unclescott58 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 For once, not the most recent snow fall. For more, see my comments under "what pleased you" Scott
