Eshaver Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Well, I used to do body and fender , actually making sheet metal for antique cars that don't have any aftermarket . I currently build exhibits, movie props and occasionally , I get a ford Flathead engine to work on ............

disabled modeler Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Disabled/disability....but use to be a ASE certified auto technician and had my own small shop when I had my accident which put a end to that...huge difference in income but getting use to it. Now I build and help a disabled builders group I got started for some other guys when I can or can find stuff for them to work on...almost like a class of sorts...LOL...

Then moved from California to Arizona where I took a part time job at a Petco store for 6 years. Retired at 62 last June.

dwayne4385 Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 I work at gm orion assembly. I hate every second of it but the pay is good and full benefits and bonuses. Before gm I built show cars and prototypes for the big three. Here's a couple we did for sema a few years ago.

I had a 37 year career in the nuclear industry (nuclear weapons, nuclear fuel fabrication and nuclear power) in radiation safety.
