Erik Smith Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Just saw a wagon conversion for Revell's 1950 Olds kit on eBay - anybody know who makes the resin wagon conversion? Edited November 27, 2013 by Erik Smith
peter31a Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Is it a whole kit or just the body? First impression is it looks good.
Casey Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Is it a whole kit or just the body? First impression is it looks good. It's a conversion kit for use with the Revell kit, it appears: http://bestmodelcarparts.com/products.php?view=productPage&product=240&category=1
sfhess Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 The caster is a friend of mine and he does fantastic work. I have seen his prototypes for the master and they look really nice.

Bowtienutz Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I always liked the woody wagons I looks like that's what this is. Who is your friend Scott? Can we see more pictures of what's included the website appears to be down.
sfhess Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Sorry I haven't been here for a few days. Waiting for knee surgery. It looks like others on the board have answered most of the questions and provided links.
Toner283 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I always liked the woody wagons I looks like that's what this is. These were made after the era of the actual woodie. These were all steel cars. The "wood" trim on the side from the factory was just painted on. Does not hurt the cool factor though.
Erik Smith Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) Purchased one - I'll put put up some photos in a couple weeks when I get it and get a chance to look it over... Edited December 2, 2013 by Erik Smith
carrucha Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Looks like a cool conversion. I might have to pick one up.

mrknowetall Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Darn it Don, you just cost me $64! He he he. Join the club. BTW, the Yimmy Flintstone '53 Ford station wagon body is VERY nicely done, although you'd need to fab some of the interior.
khier Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 That would look fantastic next to a '49 Mercury and '48 Ford woodies all hauling camping or boat trailers..... loaded luggage carriers on the roof would be great too.
Erik Smith Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Received my wagon today. Great service and a great product. Smooth casting, very few if any bubbles. Body looks very well proportioned. I like it!!
