What ever you put on it, should be diesel powered !! How about a Bonneville land speed truck? What did you use for the rear wheel opening lips ? Again Great job. every second counts Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 That looks awesome, and yea it should carry some sort of jet fuelled truck or land speed truck. I have followed your builds and i am sure you can cobble some thing tougher that will be awesome. cheers ESC
kilrathy10 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Thanks, Guys....I really appreciate the kind words you boys have for my project...Steve, I used some thin flat styrene from Evergreen...I think it is .010 x .250 centered inside the curvatures.....Not sure, though....I just know it's thin......Anyway, thanks again, Guys....
Mr mopar Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Nice work JT .................................I like the use's of the Peterbilt decals .
BigBad Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Sure looks like you had fun with one JT! You have a signature in all your builds. There is some streamlining, equalization in the bodylines, some massiveness... In short, good looking rigs. I like the application of the snap Peterbilt stripes in this case. Nice job!
flat-top Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Very nice JT , I like what you did with the decals.
Casey Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Man! That is one fine lookin' hauler JT. I especially like they way you put the stripe decals to work, spot on. Agreed. The way they flow really ties the cab, sleeper, and bed together, and the red and silver go great with the main dark blue color.
Kostas Parchas Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 JT, congratulations once again my friend. I like it a lot, and the new color is growing to me. As for the load, a skeleton frame (you can scruch) and a cab (maybe and the hood) of a truck going for scrap, would also be a nice idea. Kostas.
Q tip Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 turned out very nice, now what to put on the back???? have you thought about a G.A.T.R. (great american truck racing) truck. everyone has a race car on theirs, you could have a slung low kw racer on yours!
Sam I Am Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Ok, ok, I will let you know that the finished product is perfect, other than some people I noticed said there was not enough orange.
TokyoDrift99 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 That is absolutley sweet! I really like the creative use of the Pete 359 decals.
outkast1027 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 looks amazing just still concerns me theres no orange. lol
Old Albion Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Excellent build! This is a well thought out project and looks right.
Chuck Most Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Nice! I'd say since it has a Gulf sticker on it, put a Ford GT40 on the back.
kilrathy10 Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) All you guys' suggestions as for what to put on the back of this thing are all good, but I just got a really cool idea when Meng announced the release of the F-350.....Dropping a big hint as to what I'm planning, now.....
