Roncla Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Little needs to be said about Revells' 40 Ford kit. Everything goes together as it should and there is no shortage of different ways to build it. I built mine as a traditional rod.
Jantrix Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Man, that has such a wonderful authentic look. Well done.
TooOld Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Cool ! Satin finish , missing side trim , window weatherstripping , Moon decals , and that grille ! Very cool !
Dale W. Verts Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Very nice. What exactly is that yellow? Dale
rmvw guy Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Perfect! The red wheels really pop with the yellow. I love the way you removed the trim and left holes. Great low buck, old school hot rod.
Guest Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 That's a really cool looking hot rod Ron! The missing trim is a cool touch! I just finished up a '41 coupe in the exact same style. My only complaint is there isn't enough photos!
Skip Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 That's nice, big fan of Forties, so much so we are looking for a full sized Forty Coupe right now. Like how you did it without the trim.
StevenGuthmiller Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Beautiful Ron! Exactly the way a '40 Ford should look! Nice job! Steve
Sixties Sam Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Great classic 40 Ford! Eye-popping color, and the photoetched grille really makes the model! Nice work! Sam
