A song that is often confused as a cover of an Van Morrison tune.

Who knew such a happy sounding song could be the end result of such an experience.

You all must remember this one.

Really dig this version of Battleship Chains.

Very cool! Here's another version by Hindu Love Gods, which was a collaboration between Warren Zevon and an up-and-coming band named REM:

Heard a DJ talking about this cover.  I don't share his enthusiasm for it but thought I would share it nonetheless.

Steve Hackett's band covering this Genesis classic from the Peter Gabriel era.  Only a quasi-cover since Hackett played on the original release as well.

I don't know how to post a link, but The Cardigans did a cover of "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. Kind of Surreal with the lyrics being sung in her soft voice....

There is a lot of good stuff in this thread. That Cardigans redition is one of my favorite covers, just because it is so different.

Here are few more:

Prince covers Foo Fighters "Best Of You"

Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" by Grace Potter and the Noturnals

"White Rabit" by Collide

And in the vain of "Iron Man", "Money" by The Flying Lizards
