espo Posted Saturday at 04:00 PM Posted Saturday at 04:00 PM Spotted one of the hated electric trucks in traffic yesterday, no big deal there are far too many of them out there anyway, but this had a very good-looking Hugger Orange looking paint job. It still is what it is, but the color seemed to soften the ugliness of it. 1

stitchdup Posted Saturday at 09:52 PM Posted Saturday at 09:52 PM While there is another Aussie pick up here, this one was new to me and actually being used as a truck instead of a toy. 3
A modeler named mike Posted Saturday at 10:12 PM Posted Saturday at 10:12 PM Went to Lowes today to purchase the materials for repairing my cement chimney crown and spotted this pretty nice '62 T-bird parked there. 4
89AKurt Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM Drove it to the show, so this counts. I did quick laps to see the show to take a break. I didn't get to really look at some nice vehicles, but you get the idea. 5
papajohn97 Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Saw this '63 Galaxie drag car with a monster 427 engine and tear-drop hood at a "cars & no coffee" event at King Harbor in Redondo Beach, CA. TASCA emblem, Holman & Moody decals, sleeper black with black steelies. Probably a handful to drive on city streets but I'd love to see it parked on my driveway so that I could just look at it for hours. What a bad-ass car! Wish there was a decent kit of a '63 Galaxie to make a nice 1/25 version of this one. 7

johnyrotten Posted yesterday at 03:46 PM Posted yesterday at 03:46 PM Had this view for a while this morning 2

They call them Utes. They are based on the Monero line that was popular down under. Had the Pontiac version that was marketed in the US as a Pontiac GTO. These are quality-built vehicles with great fit and finish. I was trying to get one of the Utes when Pontiac was eluding that they were going to import them to sell through their Pontiac Division of GM. Then GM killed the Pontiac line altogether. Don't get me started on that fiasco. 1

oldcarfan Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago On the way to Salt Lake City from central Texas. Today we went from Colorado Springs to Grand Junction Colorado, over the Rocky Mountains which my wife hated. She's not a fan of heights. What I saw today was that about every other car on the road was a Toyota 4Runner usually with a roof top box and tons of travel stickers.

My Chopper is great for checking out a show in less time. I was working, so didn't take many pictures, there were three Things there. Local LEO showed up, the previous club president got hired onto the Jerome police department, so he called for some support. Deduct concours points for the dirty armored glass. Camaro got Best Modified award Sunday. I expected to be just another entrant, not to get anything. So different than a model contest. 🤪
Falcon Ranchero Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Saw these convertibles yesterday in Sudbury, Ont. 3
Falcon Ranchero Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Saw this awesome Chevy truck on Saturday, also in Sudbury. 1
Falcon Ranchero Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago On Saturday evening I was in a book store, and then looked out the window and two Dodge Darts, a Barracuda, a shortbox Chevy and a '40 Ford drove past. Parked at a restaurant close by so I had to check them out. Some of those cars came up for the Copper Cliff show (held yesterday) that was the purpose of our trip. 3
Falcon Ranchero Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Also on the way home yesterday we stopped at a place for lunch and a '75 Ford Elite came in and parked.

89AKurt Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago I worked at rapid scheduled disassembly of the Prescott Antique Auto Club's Info/Water booth starting at daybreak. Some from yesterday, I didn't take many pictures because I'm quite frankly tired of having thousands of pictures I never look at again. 🙄 At the end of Sunday I abandoned my post, and sat under a tree with some local friends, four in the shade were born in Arizona (includes me) which is like winning the loto nowadays. First up, Jerome pulled their first Engine out of their museum. The last club president is now their Police Chief, he asked for some participation. The club owns the Prescott Ladder Truck #1 that they restored. Later one of two modern Engines parked, with a bunch of other L.E.O. I *had to* photo bomb this booth, second year. The Advanced Design won Best Truck on Sunday, and I'm sure that Bus got something, but I was too busy to attend the VW award ceremony, even though I helped repair some trophies. Charter PAAC Member Pat with his Johnny Cash truck, RV rear end, GMC frame, something else front axle, International power take-off winch, an assembly of Chevy body parts, phone truck rear. Plows through mud if needed. Gets 7 MPG no matter what. The Ford pickup has been in his family from the beginning. Who knows how old that trailer is, but I took files to the mickey moused door deadbolt while waiting for something, works much better so I had fun watching the guys use it.
