Last Saturday on a bicycle ride I was stopped at a light waiting to cross a busy state highway and a line-up of cars was waiting to turn left off the highway. It included 2 Lambos, 1 Ferrari, 1 911, 2 Vipers, a late model Vette and some poor schmoe at the back of the line with a 90s Camaro! I have no clue what they were up to but it was in a wealthy area of town.

If it wasn't a Saturday I'd say that high school had just let out!

Saw an eclectic group of cars yesterday morning on the way to work--white McLaren MP4-12C spyder, red Ferrari 458 spyder, black Cadillac XLR-v, and a black/silver Rolls Royce Wraith--the first of the new big RR coupes I've seen--stunning.

You guys out west sure see some cool cars. Not so much around here... :(

I only saw my first Tesla just a few weeks ago. I've seen the same car several time since; obviously the owner is a local guy.

My commute goes through Paradise Valley and Scottsdale..I guess in Chicagoland equivalents it would be like going through North Shore towns like Lake Forest or Winnetka--high dollar real estate areas, probably some high dollar cars there.

Right you are. But I work from home. My commute is from my bedroom to my home office. Most days the traffic is pretty light... not much to see. ^_^

That Falcon is cool but I would prefer different wheels. Just my opinion.

I agree entirely. The car was built by another "good" shop that specializes in FoMoCo products, primarily Cobras and Cobra kit-cars, Shelby Mustangs and glass Deuces. It has a front rectangular tube subframe, Mustang II IFS, and a 5.0 engine with EFI. It's also been plagued by overheating and a horrible feeling monkey-motion clutch linkage since it was built. We fixed all that.

I think it was Wednesday on my way to work I saw a Jaguar E-Type convertible...bright red with a black top. Today I saw a minty green '53(?) Chevy that was mildly hot-rodded and a red '68 Firebird. Also saw the '70 Challenger again mentioned in an earlier post and I could see that it is FC7 Plum Crazy Purple. Wish I had the $ to make an offer on it. But, I can already hear the most common answer in response to an offer on such a car..."No, it's not for sale, I'm going to restore it someday." Yeah right.

EDIT- Was wrong about the color on that Challenger. Drove by again today without wearing my sunglasses and it's actually a very faded B5 Blue. Even so, what a waste of a car sitting in a garage rotting away with all kinds of sh...ahem...STUFF piled on top of it. <_<

I go into the office once or twice a week. No more than that. I went out to pick up a pizza this evening and realized it was the first time I had left the property since Thursday!

This is what I saw today here in Finland. I didn't have a camera with me, so these pics are from Local Cruising Night and Street Race Event.

OH, I see a Blue XJ in that pic!

There are still quite a few of the old XJs around in Colorado, at least that's how I remember it..they were very popular there and had a long run...
