There is a car show every Sunday at Pony Corral restaurant here. There are some real nice vehicles! Just a few of the couple hundred or more there.

Not on the road exactly...

I was over at the airport when I heard big radial engines, looked up to see this landing, waited around for him to taxi in to park

Took a quick weekend road trip to Syracuse, NY and saw a couple new Ford Mavericks on I-90 yesterday, first I’ve seen in the wild.  A black one and a blue-gray one.  Sharp little truck.   Saw a couple Broncos also. Also saw a sharp early 90s Mustang LX 5.0 convertible, top down. White w/ a black interior.  Saw a couple Hellcat wide body Chargers--one black and one purple.   Saw a very clean '68 Coupe de Ville in dark green.

No pix but I spoke with the proud owner of a 1917 GMC flatbed truck. According to his research fewer than 3,000 were built with all of those going to Europe as ambulances during world war one. This was at a weekend car show in our little village.

What's the sticker price ?  Just wondering.

This is a Lariat model, with some stuff on it. Comes in at $101,780 CDN. ?

They ship fully charged, or low? Curious.

Arrived with about 60% charge. Guessing it left the factory fully charged.

Put your junk in the frunk.

AHs the onboard generator as standard. Besides the power points in the box, it has this up front in the frunk.

If you get to play with it would be interested in your opinion of it.

This one is sold (as are all of the Lightnings we have comings) but the next one will be available for demos and whatnot. Our boss is buying it and will be making it available, so I will have some play time for sure.

No worse that what they did with the Mustang name.

you can't do any worse than what they did with the mustang name.  they could literally just stop making mustangs and it would be better than sticking the name one a 4 door all wheel drive soccer mom crossover.  not even swear words accompanied by crude hand gestures are strong enough to describe my absolute disgust over that.

Yeah, 4X4 for sure. An EcoBoost powered F150 with the same features would run about $20k less.

There is still a Mustang. There are still 911’s, Ferraris, etc. SUV’s allow them to build sports cars, muscle cars. It’s a brand, and they’re not slugs. So if selling it keeps ICE motors in regular Mustangs, great!
Lambo and Porsche sell far more SUVs than cars. That’s what people want.
It slays me when everyone whines about gas prices as they all drive SUVs/trucks. Usually with 1 person up. ??‍♂️
