A co-worker had a similar thing going on with his Chevy HHR. He even added spinner hubcaps and fake antennas. I asked him if he got all that stuff from Pep Boys and he said ot since he discovered Amazon and eBay! He got two rolls of chrome pinstripe tape at a clearance and used both rolls to outline his doors and fenders.

The Whitney catalogs has some things that were actually worth looking into........ I remember you could order pretty much an entire square body S10 interior, Bikini tops for Jeeps, bed covers and the like. The stuff like running boards with huge lights on them, they could have left out.......... 1
Sledsel Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 I just spotted this in the Home Depot parking lot. It is November 27th and I am in Northern Ohio. Pretty cool to see it out. 1
Chuckyg1 Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 It's late November in northern Ohio. That's how it got that way to begin with. 2
Chinacar Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Folks picking up their kids down the street from me... 2
Chuckyg1 Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I'm more interested in the cigar, whiskey music bar in the back ground of the second shot. Maybe they can come back later and pick me up. 1 3
Chinacar Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 I usually just lock the kids in the car while I grab a drink. A modeler named mike Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Stopped for gas at a station that shares an entrance with a VW restoration shop. There was also a VW Thing on the lot not in the photos. Looks like they might be a little behind..🤷 10
sfhess Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 68 Impala 4-door sedan. 66 Buick Electra 2-door hardtop.
Chinacar Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 This morning I saw this in downtown Shanghai, China. The sad part is it's probably mostly Chinese parts content! 1
A modeler named mike Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 One of today's sighting, it was a clean but rough sounding specimen. All it's lacking is a Christmas tree in the bed.. 4

I added a set of welded in frame connectors and a driveshaft loop for safety. It was a fun ride but the idiot driver got way to many tickets and the wife was always pitching a fit.. mine looked alot like that one, painted '72 Monte Carlo blue.

Chinacar Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Not a common sight in China...I'm not sure if it was a real HELLCAT, but it had the badging. Sad part is most of the the EV sedans on the road here are quicker... 2
Suburban_Hooligan Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 it was actually earlier in the week, but Bullitt edition mustang. 1

Not a powerhouse by 60s, or even today's standards, but still a car with some street cred in the mid 80s. I got beat by one with my 85 Mustang GT, and my 87 LX 5.0. I finally gave in and purchased one. It was not the GLHS, but an 86 GLH. It was a rocket. That was short lived when I traded it in for 87 Grand National, but it was fun.
Mattilacken Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Saw this classic Saab the other day. As well as the TGB 11 that i pass by daily. And then i saw a Sibling, (not often i come across others here in town) and my work Jeep is clearly bigger thanks to suspension lift and bigger tires. 1

I dig that Saab, man; out of all European cars the Saab has to be my favourite, especially the early '49 to '69s; but I may be mildly biased being of Nordic European heritage myself Edited December 9, 2024 by Falcon Ranchero 1
