I got a set of brand new flow tech 302 headers. They were 70% off and I just couldn’t leave them behind. Now all I need is a 302.

Great find. I would get them powder coated soon before they start to rust.

I got all of the picture items. Brand new on clearance at Walmart for $75 plus tax. Including four 20 volt lithium batteries and three chargers. They were last years display items. Score!

Line up those chargers and keep all the batteries charged!  The units are convenient, not dragging around cords and such, but the batteries don't last long!    I have both the chain saw and the leaf blower.   The blower is low power so I just use it for the pool deck.  I have an electric one for the real leaf work.

I have the 18 regular batterry ones but the batteries last one year and maybe 5 minutes. . I thought I was doing a step up. Darn it. I should have gone with Ryobi.

Browsing eBay (which is a dangerous thing!) I found a lot of 28 different old cards and envelopes with my favorite Ben Franklin stamp on them.

One thing I find interesting about old letters and cards like this, look at the penmanship. The card on the lower right is almost going too calligraphy. The one on the upper left has an interesting picture on the front.

David, here's one I saved because the penmanship is so nice.  Today we chicken scratch.

You liked the picture of the little girl.  Here's an interesting postcard.   Photography was still novel in 1907, and sending things via postcard was also a fad.  So a mother took little Clayton to a photographer and he produced the photograph on postcard stock.   Captured in time.  Think about it. Little Clayton had his whole life ahead of him in  September 1907.  And now his entire life has been spent.  He'd be 111 years old today.  So how did he do?  Was he successful?  Did he have a happy life?    Oh, I love these snippets of history!

I received my Vivid Red Cocktail paint from Splash Paints. Very easy to order from and had it in a week. This will be the first paint through my airbrush. Hopefully it works well.

Put around 150 rounds through it yesterday without a hiccup. Fun and pretty darn accurate also.

Really, tho...... I would think fire arms would be as tough a topic as politics or religion......

Why? Guns and shooting are a hobby for a lot of people just like any other hobby. Shooting can be a lot of fun when done safely. And a great way to relieve stress as well. Shoot a tannerite target at 300 yards and it's quite a thrill to watch it explode. Lets you know right away whether you hit what you were aiming at or not.

I convinced my wife to try target shooting with a .22 and she had a blast. She wants to get her own gun now. My oldest daughter is 12 and she was taught the basics of gun safety several years ago. I have two small children as well and once they get older they'll be taught the basics as well. I don't want them to be afraid of firearms but they're for sure going to respect them.

There are many in society that are opposed to guns at any level. The Constitution grants use the right to bare arms. If a citizen doesn't feel comfortable doing that then we should respect their right to for go ownership of a gun. But we also need to respect the rights of those that due. With gun ownership comes a tremendous responsibility in all of the safety aspects of gun ownership. A visit to the Shooting Range from time to time is always a good experience along with the proper cleaning, storing, and securing your fire arm so that someone that shouldn't be handling a gun doesn't have accesses to it. That's kind of a cute looking Cap Gun. I like that they painted it a color that shouldn't be mistaken for the real thing.

Years ago I posted a photo of a firearm I had bought ( Masterpiece Arms 9mm top cock )  and I got a very polite message as to why the post was deleted. I think it was Harry if I remember right. Said there was forums for that. I respected his decision and never posted another.

"Grandma. I am seven months old today. Clayton"? Wow! That's incredible handwriting for a seven month old! ?

A new combination square. The level bubble was long gone and now the adjustment nut split in half. Things don't last anymore. It was only about 40 years old.

Ordered this today:

image.thumb.png.53a82ecb91e778c5f97a3b0d5fb37237.png

It's an Arcade1Up Deluxe Edition 12-In-1 Arcade Cabinet. Comes with 12 classic '80s arcade games, the same ones we remember playing at our favorite gin mills of our youth.  It will be set up in the living room of our new place. My son and his friends will be able to enjoy themselves doing goofy stuff when they come over. It's the perfect companion to the AFX Giant Raceway slot car set (all 62.5 feet of it!)

image.png.4139870eed5bc0126522f27f73d4c402.png

that will be mounted on a 4'x8' folding tabletop. Man, it's great to be single again! :D
