  1. Interesting, Timothy, that it has a 'halo' vinyl top. I had a '74 - no vinyl top - and loved it! But, I don't recall seeing either the Aztec Package or a 'halo' top on any of the 71-74 Chargers. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Exquisite models, as always, Charlie! My Eisbrenner is identical to the one you show here, but it has a gray primer colored exterior surface. I don't know if it is gray gelcoat or if the previous owner primered it. I've held it in a sort of reverence since acquiring it, decades ago.
  3. That is one great looking wreckerized truck!! Even if Ford assemblers lost track and couldn't count how many low-bridge lamps they put on the roof!
  4. Hey, Charlie! I also have one of the original Eisbrenner fiberglass "bucks" - as I recall the story, he fabbed up 8 or 10 of the windowless, featureless fiberglass bodies then built one -- the one that was featured in Scale Auto Enthusiast (Issue 21, Sept/Oct 1982). I also scored two of the Uptown Auto resin castings - one is a work in progress. I love the Seagrave Anniversary Series trucks - especially the Sedan Pumpers - which the Eisbrenner fiberglass units and the subsequent Uptown resin castings represent. If you have pics of the two you've built, I for one would love to see them!
  5. Excellent show! Great swap meet! ALL the model car magazines were on hand, including the brand, new soon-to-be-published Auto Modeler Magazine!! Art and his crew did a great job of producing a super fun event! Glad I made the trip and it was good to see many builders from the Phoenix area as well as all the Cali modelers. Congrats to Chris Sobak for his Best of Show win!
  6. Many thanks to Cactus Car Modelers member Raoul Coulombe.

  8. Change changes everything.
  9. THAT is some seriously hysterical satire, there, Kurt! Fortunately, that snowflake can't possibly believe that tripe-trope. 😵🤮
  10. I've heard of two-doors and four-doors, even occasionally a "five-door," but this is the first time I've ever seen a "No-doors!"
  11. Yes, but they very often provide extensive training and practice for paramedics!
  12. Late uncle's last statement was, 'Ah, Schiff, I don't feel very good.'
  13. 'Consequences' is a lost concept.
