  1. Thank you Terry, I enjoyed meeting you yesterday. Congratulations on your awards!
  2. That’s just beautiful! Great build!
  3. I’m looking for information on my next project when I came across this thread, I would be really interested in some more information on this conversion.
  4. Slicks look great, great progress, looking so good!
  5. Very nice, clean build, great work on removing the mufflers.
  6. Interesting take on the slicks, looking good! How do you get them smooth again? I spoke with Mike yesterday he went out in the second round , he’s pretty sure he sold his car.
  7. I like what your doing here, really looks great. I agree the AMT 67 Mustang and Shelby chassis fits under a number bodies to make a more accurate Ford model.
  8. Hey Joe, do you attend the ACME show in Georgia?
  9. Don’t you just love plastic, you can do anything your imagination can come up with, I’ll be following, the AMT 65 Wagon is one of my favorite kits.
  10. I too, love the story about this build. Beautiful build, you did a great job! Love the color. I also started building in the 60s, quit when I got my first real car, and started building again sporadically in the 80s. I now build as often as time allows and I think I enjoy it more now than when I was younger.
  11. Although I called this finished, something just didn’t look quite right, I realized the grille needed to be blacked out, so I painted portions of the grille flat black. Much better now.
  12. Thanks for your service to our country Ron! The Jeep looks great. Nice clean work. The Nova is looking great, I spoke with Mike yesterday, he’s heading to Bowling Green this weekend, he thinks he might have a buyer for the Nova, I hate to see it go.
  13. Really looking good, it will all come together!
  14. I think in 1970 it would have had an 8 track player……
  15. I think the Testors enamel in the dehydrator a couple days would hold the tape, if it does leave faint tape marks, the clear would probably cover them.
  16. It looks great, you really need to finish this, all the hard stuff is done! I love the accurate looking wheelbase alteration and body mods. 4 years is a long time, my last completion took three years.
  17. I’m loving what your doing here! Most of my favorite things, Kit bashing, scratch building , and Fuel Altered’s.
  18. I love the color! Looking really good!
