Revell ‘Henry J’ 1984 kit. Painted in Tamiya Mica Red and Tamiya clear. Decals from AMT ‘Lil Viky’ Kit. I’m pretty happy with how it’s turned out considering the kits poor reviews and difficulty. Constructive criticism welcomed.

Finicky old kit, but you did a great job on it.

I have one in my stash, and Chris is right, it is a rite of passage to successfully build one.

Yea, i have also heard some negative issues with this kit ,but looks like you nailed it ,good work and nice color.

Really like the looks of this one, Gassers rule.  I also have one in the stash and have been avoiding it because of the issues I have heard.  One quick question: how do you slow this beast down?  I see a "Go" pedal but no "Whoa" pedal.

Probably one of the better builds I've seen of this wretched kit.

Agreed.

I've always had a soft spot for the subject, but the kit needs a lot of extra work if you want a really nice model.

Yeah Grant did a great job on this build.  Looks nice.  I have the new release on hold at my local hobby shop with they come in.  I'm in no big hurry to get one but when it comes in I'll have one waiting.
