DRIPTROIT 71 Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 This began with a fiberglass cab from an unknown caster. It sits on the 4300 chassis from the latest issue. This one is curbside but it is powered by a IH Red Diamond 450 gas engine. Thanks to Charles Rowley for the IH R-190 emblem decals.
vincen47 Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) Looks great. I like that C&NW yellow. I think I like that better than UP yellow, but that would have worked too. I like that single horn in the center. Looks right at home in those outdoor shots. Edited October 19, 2020 by vincen47
Mopar - D Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 Awesome Brian! Looks very real with the outside pictures.
AmericanMuscleFan Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 Yet another stunning and compelling build to be mistaken for the real thing! A great advertisement for an unknown caster! Well done again Brian!!!
kilrathy10 Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 That is one serious looking rig... I'm loving it... Beautiful work... Great photography...
extmcdriver Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 Outstanding work, looks totally real, great job!
Fat Brian Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 You're builds have a crispness that is something I aspire to.
TECHMAN Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 ??? Now that is GREAT!!!! Always enjoy seeing your builds, and the "variety" of subject matter you come up with. ?? DJ
Warren D Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Looks great, sadly reminds me I'm old as I remember those on the road.....
leafsprings Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Great build! Excellent representation of what an old school IH should look like. Especially like the wheel and tire choice, air horn location and gas powerplant!
1959scudetto Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 very nice International workhorse, great pics - a model that you see seldom on the internet!
pegaso Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Excellent model and really nice pictures. When I see such a non common model, I dream I can build one like this.

Even though it was curbside I was back and forth between the Cummins and the gas engine, but finally settled on the gas. Rockford Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I love the look of this this truck, very muscular! You did a great job on it, one of the plain Jane workaday trucks that men spent their working lives in but never got any recognition. Just excellent!
Hermann Kersten Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Awesome build Brian, Nice old work truck with a great color. Simple but catching! Hermann.
