Dave B
Well, I have finally finished the 3D filament Tipo 33 my mate printed for me. I had to do a bit of extra work because I failed to give him an accurate height for the body, nothing a bit of styrene and Milliput epoxy putty couldn't fix. I know you can buy these from the likes of MFH but I really enjoy the work required to build a reasonably accurate model from just a body. I used the wheels from a Tamiya GTAm but the rest is from my parts box. I vacformed the windscreen and headlight covers and finished the model in an acrylic red I mixed and then clear coated. The model is relective of the Tipo 33 that ran at the 1967 Nurburgring 1000 and failed to finish. Not an exact replica but looks good in the display cabinet!! Now on to my printed Maserati Tipo 151/3. Tks for looking. Dave B

Rich Chernosky
Looks darn good to me Dave. That is some very creative work considering you started with just the body.
Bernard Kron
Really nice! And can't wait for the 151/3, perhaps the most dramatic front-engined coupe ever made, and one of my all time faves. Build on, Dave!

1959scudetto
Excellent model, David - I wish there was an affordable kit of this - the wheels are from the Gunze kit, I suppose.

oldtimer
Very cool build, did you mix the red or is it an aftermarket paint? Pretty in any event

Bainford
The Alfa looks great! Lots of work to bring this one across the line. Very well done.
Funkychiken
Looks like a tiny sclae, but as you say, will look excellent in the cabinet, beautiful finish on the paint, probably took a lot of effort to get like that if the body was 3D printed...
