Beautiful looking Caddy and the paint color looks great. Very clean trim and moldings.

Thank You.

I mixed the color and it came out even better than I was expecting, using urethanes.

Love it!

I'm still kicking myself in the backside for not getting one of these kits from Modelhaus before they folded. :angry:

Steve

Modelhaus made beautiful kits. I still have a few nice one's in my stash. 👍

Thanks. The color was important to me, as it would be what set the car off at shows.

Well, if you have any more '61 Caddys that you don't want to deal with, give me a holler! ;)

It's amazing how many people are looking for one of these.

 I don't have another one, but wish I did. I have others and bought them many years ago.

One from the mid nineties with open hood and up-top.

In the end he wasn't doing those.

Yeah, those prices are just plain stupid.

I can live without.

@StevenGuthmiller

Steve, I will keep an eye out for a '61 Caddy at a reasonable price - ???

2 doors are all resin so trying to piece.one together is impossible.

They are becoming rarer than chickens teeth.

So much we had available for so long, are all but gone now in collections.

People with deep pockets are willing to pay a fortune for these now - CRAZY!!

Love the stuff you build.

Dave

@Claude Thibodeau

Hi Claude

Been stashing resin kits and other hard to find kits for many years, like many others have. I'm a "DINASAUR in the hobby

and somehow saw this day coming when things would begin to disappear, so I started a stash for the future.

Boy has that paid off.  I didn't see this many changes coming, but probably like you, I put away what I liked. No regrets

on what I didn't buy. I have more than enough to enjoy just like you probably do to.

Dave
