Re-releasing the US Mail truck & trailer again?

Interesting that they refer to it as the C600. I've also seen it called a C900.

I actually have an original 70s vintage one that I've been very slowly working on. Have the truck almost finished, need to start the trailer.

Typical vague vintage AMT instructions and random part numbering, but I like the kit.

Will probably pick up another.

For those who may never have seen this kit "in the Wild' so to speak, here are the instructions.

Not a lot of options in the box, but It was better than the MPC Bronco, IICR. You will get two sets of wheels, bare plastic & chromed. Chrome Tree is small. The original deals were not all that expansive, but I guess will be bigger in this issue. I'd expect the same tires that were in the recent Jimmy/Blazer kits.

A fun kit for sure.

And for those who'd like a better look at the actual kit, here's mine from the original release from the early '80s.

I've always meant to rebuild it to better standards but never got around to it. But I did manage to get a replacement set of the green stripe decals for it a few years ago.

It's missing a few small parts but it'll give you an idea of that the kit looks like. Only mod I did on this was swap the tires out for the MPC Formula Desert Dogs.

i built the model king re-release of the wild hoss a ways back. it was very difficult because of an issue with the back not fitting right and being warped badly. however, it was a pretty good kit. i also remember the front grill not having any tags to glue, so it required some extra careful glueing and a promise to never touch that spot again.

its a wonderful kit thought and i am so happy they are releasing it again.  i will for sure pick up a couple. i spent over 100 on the model king version and i also had a copy of the wild hoss original, which was very expensive as well, which ended up being needed for paint issues and other issues.

i put mine in my first diorama. that was a nightmare by itself. haha

Is the grill open on the Bronco?

Also it looks to have a decent looking 351M engine.

I will need several for sure
