The magic beetle (Bullitt)

Just as the re appearing hub caps, here is the magic beetle that seemed to follow the charger and the mustang in the streets of San Francisco. Movie editing aside, here is a rendition of the green bug as it appeared in the movie. The plate would not be correct as I could not make the number but a california plate will do. The color is a little lighter than the movie car but , hey ,close enough.

There were several cars like that.  Mostly Pontiacs you kept seeing, but I think there was also at least one Impala that kept popping up too.

Steve, It was some time ago but I think I used Tamiya TS 35 park green  coated with TS 13 clear.
