Not really a “ rat rod” builder but wanted to take a stab at it . Photos will show that I really am not a rat rod builder . Chopped top, channeled body , shortened the bed . Poor attempt at trying to make unfinished weld seams . Should have ordered the decals and waited. Here it is with all its warts . Now I got that out of my system ! ?

Ray, being that I'm from Las Vegas myself, I think you and I have seen our fair share of oldies that have spent their whole lives in the desert. They get a sort of patina that is not quite rat rod, and not quite Bonneville Salt Flats racer. I think your model hit that look right on the money! I love your build and will certainly be "borrowing" a bit of your look for a future build :)

Pretty cool. Very simple little rat, but lots of character there! And sometimes that's more important. "Cause attitude is everything.

Actually, this build looks like something a guy on a budget would put together. A lot of little touches as you study the pictures. I like the taillight mount.

Ok Ray....we've got a Hot Rod/Rat Rod.  I think its pretty kewl.  I'm diggin the single taillight.
