spencer1984 Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 (edited) Mostly box stock build of the Italeri kit. Italeri loves their weird panel breaks and this was no exception, with the body being made up of five parts: the fenders, the full sides up to the trim line (including the sides of the hood), the top of the body from the door sills to the base of the trunk, and the hood top/cowl/windshield. That meant that, although it includes a full engine, there's no way to see it without cutting the body up even further. That was more than I wanted to do here, so it's a curbside. A full write-up of the build is available here, and as always any comments/criticisms are welcome! Edited December 30, 2022 by spencer1984 5
jaymcminn Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 Very sinister. Nice build of a challenging kit!

mustang1989 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Black is a hard color to get right and additionally to hard to keep from being boring in places like the interior. This ......is definitely NOT boring. Great shine on the exterior and good usage of different shades of black on the interior and picking out the small details. Superb build.

I think there are about six different "black" paints used to try to mix things up a little bit. 1

70 Sting Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I really like the black on black colour scheme you chose. ? When I saw your photos I was thinking that’s something I’d like to build. Then I read your build notes and now I’m thinking… not so much.
TooOld Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 That's one of the original land yachts and a curbside works just fine for me , great work !
