Saw this cool old Vette, apparently broken and stuck on a junction on my commute home…there wasn’t a good place to stop but the guy was on his phone when I looped past so hopefully he got things resolved…

A Darwin Award winner in a van stopped in the middle lane of the turnpike, got out of the van, walked around to the back and this pickup hit him and killed him instantly. Three other cars were also involved.... -RRR

Cool vintage cars Charles, but I thought the purpose of this thread was to show some random unusual car (antique, modern exotic, or rare) captured on the road or parked (not a car show or even mini cruise night).

While I'm a fan of the 1st generation "classic" Miatas, I have to admit that this one is pretty slick.  Don't see many of them around either.

What engine was in the green Monte? It looked like a nice car..........

I'm not sure, we went to DQ because it was too hot out to grill or cook and my wife wanted to leave. I walked through the parking lot real fast. I love the 1st Gen Monte Carlos. Looked again. 5.2 liter LS3.

I've been trying to buy this '67 Vette for several years. It went from a decent car to now the frame has rust issues and I'm 100% sure the birdcage is shot. This shot is from today's visit. I've owned several C1 & C2's over the years, but a '67 is the pinnacle for C2's.

I'm a Taunus fan too!  And that's a really nice two door.  Maybe the V4 engine!

I remember those when I lived in Germany from 1969-72.  Back in the 1970s there was one running around the area near Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.  No doubt brought home by a US military person.  They had to remove the pretty headlights and shoved round sealed beam ones in the holes to pass US inspection!  Looked awful!
