  3. Very cleanly build. Great job!
  4. Looks great! You did a great job with this model.
  5. Good job. A very cool looking car.
  6. Gregg has floated the idea of a paywall for this site and it gets overwhelmingly shot down. A large number of those who object are non subscribers. Perhaps it is time for some tough love. I don't know as I am not in the know as to what is going on. I will say that some more communication on the Model Cars Magazine site might go a long way to helping people understand what is happening with the magazine. It was mentioned that Gregg had another medical procedure and it was posted on Facebook. Why not post it here as well? I made a post earlier in this thread about the magazine, and had I known what Gregg was going through, I would not have posted what I did or would have stated it much differently. One cannot control everything, but one does himself a great dis-service by not controlling the flow of information as others will gladly fill the vacuum. When others fill the vacuum, the flow of information usually becomes distorted to say the least.
  7. Another great looking Ford!
  8. Great job Steve. The decal work is superb!

Great job! The aero work is outstanding.
  10. Looks outstanding! Excellent craftsmanship.
  11. Those are fun models to build. Fortunately, the decals are plentiful in the secondary market. I really suggest Wet Works decals for the Mountain Dew car. They got the green the closest to the actual car.
  12. Great job Steve! The Tauruses (or Tauri for the grammarians in the crowd) had a reputation for being a finicky model to get right. Yours looks outstanding!
  13. Bill is absolutely correct. However, the thing that I find perplexing is that we keep being told on the website that the problems should be behind them soon. The last time was in September. It is now 4 months later and nothing seems to be resolved. I have been asked to renew my subscription, but I have two or three more issues on my current one. I am reluctant to pull the trigger on the renewal. It's not necessarily because of the money, but with the pace of the magazine's production, I have 2 - 3 more years before my current subscription expires.
  14. Great job! I like it a lot.
  15. Looks very nice. Great job!
  16. A lot of it will depend on how old the computer is. They added memory to the computer I use at work, and the guy from IT turned the computer off, opened the case, added the memory, closed the case and turned it back on. He was in and out of my office in less than 10 minutes. The computer is a Dell with an i3 processor. Many computers of the last 10 years or so are plug and play, so adding things is relatively easy. I suggest going to the computer manufacturer's website to see what they have to say and perhaps contacting their tech support, if necessary.
  17. In my opinion this is the cost of people actually believing that things are free. Have a problem - there's an app for that and its free and on and on it goes. Obviously, the phones are not free, but most everything people use on them can be. Google loves offering all or most of its services for free because they know people will sign up by the droves and they get all of the data. Well nothing is free, and in the case of all of this "free" stuff, it's our freedoms that we lose. They need the data so they can sell it in order to recoup the development cost and then make money.
  18. Great job! Quite frankly, your version looks better than the car that raced.

    Black Widow

    Great work Bruce!
  24. Anything can be taken care of if enough cash trades hands. If Testor's still has the molds, then there likely isn't enough profit in a production run to payoff the owner of the assets and then meet their own ROI requirements.
