  1. The first one is a 1/43 scale Starter kit and the second is a street Superbird that I converted into a race car.
  2. Looks very nice! Great looking paint and decals.
  3. Great looking collection of planes. That Valkyrie looks fast sitting still.
  4. Good looking planes. The camo on the top plane is superbly done!
  5. Looks great! The color combination really pops.

Very nice. A friend of mine had one of these in high school. I fell in love with that car riding in it.
  8. Went to an airshow yesterday for the first time in about 15 years. I took my wife and son. It was their first time to see an airshow. Saw the Blue Angels fly. What a treat! The Thunderbirds fly in Wichita in a couple of weeks. Both of them are thinking we should drive to see that show.
  9. John McCain served his country in times of war and in times of peace. He is a patriot. My son informed me yesterday that McCain is survived by his mother. She is 106.
  10. What sometimes has worked for me is to take a fresh piece of masking tape, and with a medium amount of pressure, put on the tape residue. Then rather gently pull the tape off. The new tape can pull the old residue off.
  11. Dustin, the car looks real good. If I may offer a suggestion: The NACA duct decals on the rear 3/4 windows are on backwards.
  12. Great looking collection of Chevy SS'!
  13. Very nice. Great job weathering the truck.

  17. Great job Jim. Really outstanding!
  18. Wow, that is great work Dann!
  19. Very nice. You did a great job!
  20. Bart, it is always best to apply decals to a smooth gloss surface. If you require a flat finish, then use a flat coat afterwards. The reason for this is that a decal may not completely adhere to a flat finish, and what can happen is that the light goes through the clear carrier and then bounces off of the model and then it hits the back side of the clear carrier. This causes a "silvering" effect. As far as the yellowing, it kind of depends on what caused it. Some decals like paper can yellow with age. If this has happened I am not sure what you can do other than what Snake suggested. The other thing that can happen with older decals is that the glue can age an cause this problem. You can see this on the race car above. If this has occurred, there is likely nothing that can be done about that.
