Bill, you are correct, but if things ever get to that point, what few manners and decorum this society has left will be gone. Those that survive will be the ones with the most guns and bullets. Furthermore, they will also have to be the ones who aren't afraid to kill a lot of other people to keep what they have.

The early models of the PS3 were backward compatible with the PS2. I don't know about the PS1. Our kids did not start playing on the Playstation until the PS2. They had the Sega Dreamcast. The later versions of the PS3 were not backward compatible. We had the backward compatible version and it went on the fritz and stopped working. The second PS3 we bought was a fat type as well, but not backward compatible. You will have to be careful and make sure you are buying a backward compatible system.

Great story! It's moments like this that make it all worthwhile. One point though, GM had Force before Ford. Force wanted to expand his team and GM would not give him the funding. Ford did.

Joe, with all due respect, the gas pumps are electronically controlled. If an EMP goes off, the gas pumps will likely be fried too. The Luddites will drive for a few more days or weeks until they run out of gas. Then they will be like everybody else.

Interesting, but the writer never seems to indicate what is causing or why the highway is endangered.
