That is truly a beautiful model. I think I spent about 15 minutes or more admiring your pictures. Really spectacular! -
What is happening is that the decal is "silvering". It is not setting on the paint snugly and the light is getting between the decal and the paint. If the decal is dry, setting solution may not help. I build race cars for the most part, and therefore, have to deal with a lot of decals. I strongly recommend that you cut as much of the clear decal from the actual art work as you can. It minimizes the silvering effect.

Great job. Really stunning! -
Excellent build and great detail! I built one of these for my son as a Christmas gift many years ago. It was a good kit.

This is happening everywhere. It's because the people who are supposed to enforce the laws or ordinances that affect our quality of life refuse to do so.

I read this one recently, and it resonated with me. Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for somebody else's mistake. We can be angry with ourselves for our own mistakes, but it is usually for former and not the latter. -

Very nice Thunderbird. One of my favorite body designs of that car.

Thank you Michael. They are supposed to be visible through Sunday. Hopefully you will have a clear night before then to see them. The Lights were not very visible at the time we were out. We had to set our phones to the night setting at maximum exposure to get these photos. Holding my breath and the phone still for about 12 seconds was a bit of a challenge. The best viewing time in our area is from 9:00 until 2:00. We were not staying up until 2:00 a.m. to see them. Maybe later would have been a good time to see them with the naked eye.

We do not see the Northern Lights very often in northern Kansas, but last night at 9:30 my wife and I were taking pictures with our iPhones. Here are a couple.

We all make mistakes. Learn from them, resolve not to repeat them, forgive yourself for making them and move on. I still have difficulty with the last two parts of that statement. -

Barry Bonds played at a high level into his 40's. Yes, I know all about the steroids, but he did play that long. Tom Brady played (albeit football) until he was 47. There will be a very few guys who can play into their mid to late 40's, but Father Time usually catches up with them long before then. Pete Rose by the end of his career was a spank hitter. His base hits were almost always landing in the shallow parts of the outfield. He no longer had the drive in his swing to give the ball a ride. Hitters in baseball usually fall into two categories that spell their demise. They either cannot turn on a fastball anymore or they cannot read the spin of the laces on the breaking balls. They are finished once the pitchers figure this out. The pitchers lose a few miles per hour off of their pitches and then the batters can turn on them and drive the balls almost at will. That is what makes the guys like Pete Rose or Nolan Ryan really special.
