Great job Keith! It would have been very intimidating to see that monster on the battlefield. -

Great looking model. Green was considered an unlucky color due to a couple of accidents that caused fatalities involving Lee Oldfield and Gaston Chevrolet in the early 1900s. Both were driving green cars. This superstition remained in stock car racing until the 1980s. -

Great looking model! I built this one a number of years ago and remember that the decal work was daunting. -

Looks spectacular! I really like the colors you selected.

Very nice build. I always had a soft spot for this car. If Pontiac had put the good performance stuff in the car earlier, it may have had a longer production run.

When our two kids were in high school, my wife and I sat them down and told them that when they graduated, they were either going to college or to the local technical school. We further told them that if they went to college, they were going to get degrees where they would get good paying jobs. Our daughter earned a degree in economics with a minor in mathematics and works in an actuarial department at an annuity / life insurance company. Our son earned dual degrees in psychology and criminal justice and is a detective in a police department about an hour from where we live. My apologies if this comes across as boastful. The reason we took this approach with our kids is that too many adults who should have known better were feeding the nonsense that if you do what you love, you will not work a day in your life. The universities were parroting this too. In my opinion, these schools should be sued for fraud, and whatever settlements that come out of this, should be paid out of the endowment. It's truly sad what a bunch of nit wit adults did to a large swath of a generation of kids.

Pete, I have not heard of this until recently, so it is likely a new way of thinking. The issue isn't about damaged cars, but to offer a possible avenue of escape. Time will tell if there is any merit behind this or not.

Thank you Mike. That generation of planes the F-4, F-14, F-15 and F-16 really captured my imagination. I was at an airshow in the 90's and there was a flight demonstration of an F-15 and a MiG 29. The F-15 went first and the maintenance guys for the MiG watched and just shook their heads a lot. They knew who had the best plane.
