  1. There was a poll done recently, and if the poll is a true random sampling, people do not want anything to do with autonomous cars. The reasons are what we on this forum have been discussing for some time. They can be hacked, and as great as their proponents claim, their will be problems. And since we know our political leaders will not legislate who is responsible for the problems (i.e. the car makers or their third party contractors), the courts will have to decide. We all know that the courts move at a glacial pace. Furthermore, the corporations all have their ways to try and cover up their misdeeds. It will be years before any problems will be widely known and many people will be killed or maimed. The other issue that many seem to overlook is that many people in this country live in rural areas where self driving cars will not operate well. No one that I know has indicated how they will travel on a gravel road. And mass transit will never reach these people.

Great job! The detail work looks real nice.
  10. You are correct if Paypal is required for every transaction. My only point is that there are pitfalls and pratfalls to allowing selling on the site and I merely brought a few up. As I stated, I don't have any skin in this, and the owners of this site can do what they wish.
  11. The big potential problem I see is who will police the bad actors? Plus there will always be sales that go sideways for a variety of reasons and none of them are nefarious. This will have to be addressed as well. I do not have any skin in this as I will not sell and likely will not buy, but these are things someone will have to consider and whether a person or people have the time to take care of them. A final point is that there have been exhausting threads by board members who felt they were cheated by a vendor when a sale did not go well. Is that something the owners of this site want?

  22. The engine is from a Monogram NASCAR kit. That is a common engine for all of the GM kits of that time period. The Delta 88's were first released as a Hardee's livery car and then it was released with K-Mart livery. Later it was in a Kodak combo kit where there were two models. One was the Delta 88 and the other was a Cutlass from the late 80's to early 90's vintage.
