Started with an incomplete Revell 65 Chevy stepside kit. Thanks to Casey who sent me some parts and the Little Gasser tanks. The tap came from the Fruit Wagon and the decals from a Nascar kit. Also another member sent me a second set of decals I needed to complete the look. Don't know if you can make it out, but the Chevy kit came with Colorado plates. Still need some outside mirrors, didn't like the kit mirrors, and find some taillights that look good on it. Also thinking about some side pipes turned into stacks and a light bar to draw attention when it shows up to the party.

keep stopping at the end of my builds

I think you answered your own question. I have yet to build a kit that turned out perfectly. It's natural to want to finish a build and move on to the next one. I build for fun and relaxation and if it's not perfect then so be it. I have many started kits but I am trying to focus on those before I crack open another kit. A lot of guys on this forum have 2 or 3 kits going at the same time so if you get bored with a kit you can set it aside and work on another. -

What Do You Want To See Next?
Renegade replied to Duntov's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Since we have a wealth of El Camino kits I would like to see the same coverage of Ranchero kits. Hopefully I'm not the only one who likes Rancheros. I do have most of the El Camino kits but only the 60 Ranchero. -
Very nice.

Finally got most of mine in one place. Probably a few stragglers around but this is the bulk of it. The showcase was a gun cabinet my neighbors left by the road when they moved. Thankfully, they left the key in it. Removed the barrel rest, the lights I already had, and the glass was $100.00 total. Will get the other 4 when I get paid again. Should hold 40 cars.

Need to pick one up this time around. Always wanted one but never got it. Have an abundance of tractors but no trailers. Now to figure out where to display them.

She does great paint and decal work. You are a lucky guy to have a wife interested in the hobby and cars in general.

Neither does anything for me.
