while I am not a huge fan of drag racers I do love all these, the detail is incredible especially on the last one. A great year you had with lots of cool builds.
Bill - the challengers roof was done by spray putty, i masked and sprayed the seams and then put a few mist coats and let them dry between and got a pleasing result. sorry that i took so long. i was trying to find any pictures on my old computer to better explain how.
In my experience most glue bombs don't turn out as nice as fresh kits but yours turned out pretty good and the Daytona looks great. They make a great pair, nice work.
Looking good so far, what direction are you going for this? if your going for a sort of custom look this would look great:
Using the headlight surround and front bumper of a 55 belair like the gmc truck from overhauling would look good. just a suggestion.
Very cool looking, the paint looks great. The white seats and door cards with the rest black look great, i have a Challenger with the same paint scheme in the interior. its going to look great when done.
Thanks everyone for the comments
MyBradKeselowlski - i will smooth the step from the rear doors eventually but I'm stuck on how i will go about it. The sides are near perfect and ready for paint and i would hate to mess it up when its looking so good.
1972coronet - I will be using the 383 for now. As for the hubcaps i also cant wait to see how i will make them i have no idea where to start.
Tomorrow i hope to have the taillights done.
