Great to see you back Nick. Don't miss the Bathurst 1000(Australian V8 SuperCars) on SPEED this Saturday night starting at 7:00 PM. It's live flag to flag coverage, about 6 hrs or so long.. I guess their throwing the dog a bone.

For anybody that likes these cars SPEED is broadcasting the entire BATHURST 1000 race from Australia this Saturday night. It starts at 7:00 PM and is about 6-7 hrs long. They are sending Darell Waltrip and Mike Joy over to do the anouncing. I watched this one on the internet last year. It's great door slamming racing on a very scenic circuit. The circuit is known as Mount Panorama.

Bill I am really sorry to hear about this, I was wandering how you were making out. Me and Georgia will be praying for you. This was a bad one. We made out OK on the West shore and I don't have a basement to worry about. Give us a call when you can. Tyco was closed today. -
"sealed motor attached to a high efficiency "squirrel cage" blower, which puts that sealed motor COMPLETELY outside the air stream flowing though the blower" Maybe Paasche has changed the blower, but this is exactly the way the one I have is. I bought mine 9 years ago.
-
I have thatbooth and have used it for 10 yrs without problems. The fan is a Dayton style blower and is absolutely safe. Amazon is just being overkill. Paasche sells this for airbrushing with no such warnings. I use airbrushes and Krylon or Duplicolor spray cans without issue. I do not care what anybody says about Pace this Paasche is the best buy there is for the size and how it's constructed. I use a 20" X 20" Furnace Filter in mine.

That answer deserves a gold star! That was pretty good.

These updates to the website have made the font way too big on my 25" monitor. I know how to change other settings in the browser and windows etc. but i do not want to do that just for one website. Is there any thing on the website itself for this? Also if you right click and try to save a pic it loads a another screen, only a print screen can be used to save.

Here are some pics of the one I am working on. I had to build up headlight buckets to mate up with the body. I opened all vents in the body and added some inner fenders around the wheels. This version has a huge prototype ground effect diffuser at the rear. I also drilled out the holes in the dash and made an inter-cooler.

Just got this beautiful new slotcar. The headlights and taillights look awesome when running.

935k3 replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Here is a simple guide of what to use to strip. Note that most pre-painted kits are some type of fast drying lacquers. For Krylon use 91% Alcohol to strip the color coats and Purple Power for the primer. Lacquers- 91% Alcohol Enamels and most primers- Purple Power or Easy-OFF(Yellow Can) Tamiya Acrylics and Future- Ammonia All other Acrylics- 91% Alcohol -
Go out an get some of the old plastic style DYMO label tapes. They stick well and are thick enough to guide your knife without errors. drag the #11 Exacto blade backwards along the tape after it's positioned where you want the line They have helped me far better than any other method. Here is a pic of what the look like.

Is there a way to fix a leaking airbrush
935k3 replied to sak's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Don's right Badger service is very good they might replace it. If you need parts for any Badger airbrushes they do not sell parts directly but use a company for drop shipments. It's at this link Badger Badger gave me a promo code that gets you 33% of everything for all my orders through this site. I got my parts in 3 days, great service. The only part that wears out on Badger's is the needle bearing which has a lifetime free replacement guarantee. -
Here is the link to their club CPMCC

Question about airbrushes
935k3 replied to sportandmiah's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Another reason to stay with the well known makers is the availability of parts.
