  1. Yea, I just noticed that now. But, besides that, it's still very cool. Scott
  2. Other than the fish and the upside down star, I kind of like it. not as cool as Foose's P-32. But not bad either. Scott
  3. Cars should be down in the weeds. Not up in the air. Scott
  4. That's not photo shopped? Scott
  5. I find it interesting that first we have Pi day on March 14. Then the Ides of March on the 15th. Then Saint Urho's day on the 16th. And finally Saint Patrick's day on the 17th. A busy 4 days of celebrating. It's a good thing I don't drink. I'd be quite wasted. Especially on those last two. Scott
  6. A very fun video and pretty music besides. Scott
  7. The above pie picture is brilliant. Scott
  8. The picture is so small I can't see it. Scott
  9. Im able to look at one from where I sit. So yes, they put out the Beetle, which is the first Zinger ever designed. Scott
  10. That is a test shoot of the model. Of course they give us chrome in the final version. If you think people are screaming bloody murder over the kit now, imagine what they would do if the kit came with no chrome. Even Revell isn't that stupid. Scott
  11. Any pictures of the interiors? I too am surprised that Ertl would have done that change to this kit. I'm not doubting you Steve, it just would be interesting to see the differences. I only have an Eliminator, so I have no way of comparing the two. Scott
  12. I'm having a great Friday the 13th. Over half way though the day a things are going great. And congrats Richard/Snake. It cool to here that your son is getting his wings. Always a dream of mine when I was a kid. Scott
  13. I said I got it. Scott
  14. What exactly is it? And what will you be using it for? Scott
  15. Thanks Rick. Scott
  16. I maybe in a minority here, but I'd like to see the kit converted back to an XR-7. Scott
  17. Andy, thanks for posting the photos showing us the model vs. the real car. It is very helpful in understanding what your talking about. I agree those areas on the kit are incorrect. I never noticed them until you pointed them out like that. I do hope that Revell corrects these problems down the road. At the same time, and I don't know why, but I still like the kit. Over all it looked correct to me before you pointed the flaws out. And it still looks okay after seeing the flaws. I guess I'm just not that picky? At the same time, I do wish it was better. If not prefect. I'm torn. There are other kits with worst flaws I've chossen to overlook in past. Scott
  18. The original Street Fighter is the only version of this kit I ever really liked. I never had a original, but a good friend did. I lusted over that kit in my younger days, so I was very happy when they reissued that kit back in its original form a couple of years ago. I built mine to look just like the box art. One of the first kits I ever used Tamiya lacquer on. The paint looks so good and smooth, my friend who had the original initially thought I had not painted mine. A great kit. A little simplified in features. But, it goes together well. One of Tom Daniel's best designs. Scott
  19. I'd take that Vauxhall estate wagon even in 1/32nd scale. I love those late 60's, early 70's GM products. No matter what part of the world they come from. Scott
  20. In the mail today I received a boatload of stuff. Model wise, I got an older Monogram SnapTite Shelby Charger, still in the plastic. From Model Roundup I got MPC's most recent '76 Chevy Caprice kit (I'll be using my earlier version to help in restoration of my '73 Caprice). And Fred Cady decals for my MPC Ford GT40 Mark IV kit. Plus a few other things non model related. All fun stuff. No bills. Scott
  21. Boy, the above is old school. And you know what that stuff does to model kit glass? Scott
  22. Even though it's run on compressed air and is slow, it's still pretty cool. Scott
  23. By the way Gary, that is one very nice looking Cyclone you built. I really like the color. It looks great. Scott
  24. Hmmm... So we should not talk about the fun of building models? I guess no matter what opinion is expressed here, it is wrong in some way? By the way, with the complains here in this thread, has anybody gotten their hands on Revell's Del Rio Ranch Wagon yet? If not, how do we know they won't fix the problems some here are complaining about before the kit comes out? I'm sure the guys at Revell are trying to offer us as good of a model of each kit as they can. And over all I think they do a pretty good job of it. Would it be nice if they got everything correct when a kit come out? Of course. I don't know where this thread is going any more. Are we just a just arguing for arguments sake? It's okay if you do not like the way a certain kit is done. And is okay if I do like it. Scott
