  1. Why are asking others to decide for you? Build the one you want. Better yet, build all three. But I don't think you need us to decide for you. Scott
  2. It's never a good thing to hear about a young officer taken down in the line of duty. And your right, he is a hero. If for nothing else, for going out and serving and protecting the public. R.I.P. officer Chism. Scott
  3. I've had my best results with Tamiya. A little bit more expensive here. But, worth the price. Scott
  4. Other than the fit of the hood, it looks great. The color works on that car. I hope you fix the hood fit problem, rather than displaying the car without its hood. A very sharp looking car. Scott
  5. Yea, it's the streamlined dragster from the same kit. Finished it shortly after. I believe I posted photos of that kit in a seperate thread. I've have since purchased a second kit. I plan on building the the side-by-side double engine dragster. And the Parts Pack T body is going on the Fiat chassis. Scott

    GT 40

    Looks pretty good. Scott
  7. Got to love those '32s. Scott
  8. Very cool. But, too far away for me. Scott
  9. Again as noted, I like Mustang IIs. My dad had a '77 plain coupe. One time my folks left for a few weeks on vacation. For what ever reason, I was driving my dad's Mutt II while they were gone. One morning I fire up the car, and it was runnning terrible. I took it to the nearby Ford dealer to see what's wrong. I was told the cam shaft had broke. I broke a cam shaft? I wasn't even beating on the car. It was only a 4-cylinder and not very fast besides. How could that be? And how was I going to pay for this, and then explain it to the folks when they got back? The service writer told me not to worry. Even though the car was well past its warranty, the cam shaft was covered. Ford had not properly drilled the rear oil main that the fed the cam shaft. So it was covered on an extended warranty for that problem only. The Ford dealer was within walking distance of my house, so I left the car there. 24 hours later, they had the car repaired at no charge to me or my folks. When the folks came back several days later, I could have said nothing, and I doubt they would have ever known anything went wrong. But, I was honest and told them anyways. After all, it was not my fault. So what trouble could I get into? Scott
  10. We lost one here a couple of months ago too. Like Bob above, because of their prices I never bought kits from them. Mainly went in there for paint. Scott
  11. Is this new? No. And the girl still needs to comb her hair. Sorry if I'm not excited about this one. Teaching modeling and other similar forms of art are not new on a college level. I'm glad to see that computer technogy is not taking away jobs in this area. Scott
  12. I like these two suggestions. We don't tend to look at the Cricket over here in a very positive light. But, in other parts of the world, the Chrysler Avenger (our Plymouth Cricket) and its variations were looked on quite highly. The car was built for years. And was a fairly well looked upon as a pretty good Rallye car. Scott
  13. Now that I get! And it is funny. Scott
  14. The Revell is a '68? I don't understand why they didn't offer '68 and later US spec bumpers? Scott
  15. I'd love to be able to buy and build a kit of a 1971 or '72 US spec Celica. Scott
  16. Very nice. I love the colors. Scott
  17. Very nice job. Both the kit build and working with your son. I especially like the last photo. Scott
  18. Very nice. What kit is this? People are guessing MPC. Is it? Scott
  19. Two things. I almost fell a sleep listening to these folks. Really telling me nothing. Second that one girl they interview really needs a comb or brush for her hair. Scott
  20. Is the body side molding painted on? It looks way too flat in the photo above. Plus it folded up exactly in the way as the fender? Not pulling away from the fender? Scott
  21. Okay.... I get it now. Too vague for me. A joke should not need to be explained the way the last two have been needed to. I've notice it's only a small number of us posting on this thread. And it seems to be getting smaller. Is this because we've run out of good jokes? Are others not finding this thread fun or funny? Scott
  22. Great if I knew what your talking about. I just use the pictures I have stored on my I-Pad. I know nothing about using other sites out on the web for doing this type of thing. My problem is not storage space on my end. It's the amount of storage I'm allowed on this site. From what I can tell. Easy solution. I just quit putting up pictures here. Scott
  23. Yeh the web site is not good. I end up going to their paper catalog to find stuff. It's not great either. But, I find it better than their web pages. Still, their resin makes the search worth while. Scott
  24. Sorry to say. Another one I don't get. Is it me? Or are some the "jokes" starting to get lame here now? Have we told all the good (bad?) corny jokes out there? I hope not. Scott
