  1. Mr. Obsessive, Bill, I could almost repeat your posting here, word for word. Scott
  2. Too slow downloading. I got bored waiting. Scott
  3. Yes he left Ford in 1978. But, remember the 1979 Mustang came out in the fall of 1978. Shortly after he left. Scott
  4. Looking forward to seeing this. Scott
  5. NO! Oh wow! What a shock. I'm very sorry to hear about this. RIP Tom. Scott
  6. This is not the first time I've seen somebody do this with a Visiable V-8. I do have to question his way of measuring rpms. Watching that meter fluctuate up and down, giving different readings the way it did, did not come off very scientific to me. I also question, what is it acutally measuring? Interesting. But, not very convincing. Scott
  7. Here we go again. We seem to rehash this subject every couple of months. And hear the same things over, and over, again. Let's move on. Scott
  8. Where does Tom Daniel's Monogram Ice T fit in here? Scott
  9. I love the new Stingray. I'm more waiting for a plastic promo. What's the latest word on that? If any? Scott
  10. Very cool! I like it. But, are you telling me hover cars were not invented in the 30's. Darn! Scott
  11. Ya know, I love women. So any car that turns them on is okay with me. Scott
  12. Opel Manta. A stunning good looking car. Late 60's/early 70's Mercedes 600 (126" wb sedan), 300 SEL 6.3, 280 SE 4.5 convertible, and 280 SL. Scott
  13. No! Not '32 Ford! Scott
  14. What time did the dentist make your appointment for? Tooth hurty. Scott
  15. They don't need to do anything, other than reissue it. Scott
  16. Do we yet know for sure this is being done by Moebius? I hope so. And if so, do they have the dies for other old Jo-Han kits? Scott
  17. Very nice! I too like the paint. If you would have described the color choice without showing it. I would have questioned it. But, see is believing. And works. Scott
  18. Again, as I noted before, a very nice build. But, I've gotten suckered into looking at this one again because you posted it as VW cabriolet. And I keep thinking, "I don't remember seeing a model of a VW cabriolet?" To me a VW cabriolet is a different car. A VW Cabriolet is what Volkswagen called the Golf Mk I/Rabbit convertible in the US after the other Golf body styles moved on to the Mk II version. What you have built is a VW Beetle cabriolet/convertible. Not just a VW "cabriolet." Scott
  19. This one is a mystery to me. As Luc above points out, AMT and Revell did not do a model of the Capri Mk I. In fact until his above posting, I didn't know that anybody made a Capri Mk I in 1/24th or 1/25th scale. And there is the mystery. Capri Mk I were a big hit in real life. Sold like hot cakes everywhere. So where are the models of cars? Make mine a US spec '72 with the V6. I'd also love to see a Saab 96 and a late 60's Cortina GT. Scott
  20. Just watched an old TV commercial for the Texan. According to that commercial the Texan was only available in the "Lonestar State." I guess that answers that. Scott
  21. YES! Scott
  22. That's my understanding too. He maybe having a hard time cashing those royalty checks now days. Scott
  23. A local hobby store, as of today, has these on the shelves now. Scott
  24. Saw the kit in a local hobby store today. But, I did not pick one up. Scott
