Did you know that according to the song, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", Santa has twelve reindeer? Sure, in the introduction it goes "There's Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen..." That makes eight reindeer. Then there's Rudolph, of course, so that makes nine. Then there's Olive. You know, Olive the other reindeer used to laugh..." That makes ten. The eleventh is Howe. You know, "Howe the reindeer loved him..." Eleven reindeer. Oh, and number 12? That's Andy! "Andy shouted out with glee." The proof is in the song!

Why not? The original kit came with those items. And seeing how Round 2 has done previous reissues, they seem to give us more stuff, rather less. I sur hope we get everything we got in the original version of this kit. If they throw in the stake bed, which was not in the original, that would okay too. But that I'm not expecting that.

This is a big one I've been waiting for. Back where it belongs, under the AMT banner. This ones a big "for sure" buy for me. I love those early AMT Trophy kits. Especially back with their original style box art work, and close to their original content. An easy way to get money from me.

Not my favorite Capri. ? But, if Round 2 ever chooses to reissue it I'd buy one. Slightly off subject, but it is still a mystery to me why the Mk I Capri was never done in 1/25 (or 1/24) scale?

You are correct. My mistake. -
1971 Dodge Demon, Round 2 looking into doing a release?
unclescott58 replied to GMP440's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
The trouble is I missed it the first time. I'm not sure my mother would let me have a model of a car called a Demon at the time. Since she's gone and I have my own house, I can now add one to my collection. -
1971 Dodge Demon, Round 2 looking into doing a release?
unclescott58 replied to GMP440's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I know it's old news. But, I do wish someone would do a '71 Demon 340. Revell? Round 2? Moebuis? I don't care who. -
Oh boy! I can't wait. I've been wanting the Ghost of the Red Baron forever. Missed it the first time it was out. (I don't think my mother would have approved of that one at the time. But since she's gone, I don't think she'll object too much now.) I'm glad to hear that Tom Daniel and Atlantis are working together to get some of his other kits back on the market. Maybe there is hope of seeing the Poison Pinto (the green version, please) and Mean Maverick hit the shelves again one day.

The new Ford GT is something I didn't see coming from Tamiya. With Tamiya's quality, I'll be looking at adding one to my collection. I'm sure it will be a great kit.

The '69 Chevelle and Firebird convertible, maybe. The rest really don't do much for me. I hope the Firebird comes with a 400 hood, rather the Trans Am hood that came with the last release.

1/16 MPC Honda Super Hawk CB77 Motorcycle

Picked up this kit a couple of days ago. It looks like a pretty good kit. The few subassemblies I've done so far, are going together quite well. But, I'd like to know a little bit more about both the history this kit and the real full-size bike. The present kit comes with several decals to make variations of this bike. What decals go with what other decals to make a "correct" variations of this bike? On the box, they indicate that the real bike was built from 1961, through 1968. So are there minor differences from year-to-year that these decals represent? The box or instructions give no clues on this. And searching the internet has not been much help so far, either. Who out there knows something about these bikes? And what variations I can build using the contents of this kit? -
Revell '68 Mustang GT 2'n1 Problems
unclescott58 replied to Photo-mack's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I'm still please with the one I built a couple months ago. I had no major problems building mine. It turned out pretty nice. -
Only the Riv and Garage Accessory kit look good to me this Round. I really don't need another '65 Riv. But, I love the box art, and have to build a custom based on that box art. The box art makes the '72 Nova more interesting. But, not enough for me to buy another one. Now they could reissue the Ventura II based on this same die.

I agree.

Beautiful! ? Since I built a stock convertible when it was out the last time, it is maybe time to pickup another one and build a stock hardtop companion. I love these old reissues.

That everything. ?

One I'd like to see come back. One of my "holy grail" kits. -
I love the styling, mainly the front end, of the 1967 Ambassadors and Marlins. If I could really could own one of them, it would be the Ambassador convertible. Followed by the Marlin. Some day I hope to add an Ambassador convertible promo model to my collection. Lovely cars. Some of the best to come Kenosha.

A little bit of primer, then you can paint it any color you wish. Had one about thirty years ago. Wish I had one today. I actually like the Marlin. I never understood why the real car didn't sell better. Especially, IMO, the best looking one, the '67.

I'd like to see one of these '57 Chevys with the chopped top built. Looking at the instructions above above, it does not look like an easy build at all. Has anybody here done one?
