  1. I agree with you about how it seems like not many of these have been built, but I know I've only built one 670... I'm thinking at $70 a pop, Guys are less likely to drop that kind of cash for a rig that doesn't have an engine... So you could be right on with that... You've done a very nice job on this thing... Good job on the grille... Very nice paint job...
  2. Got more done on the boom, today, even.... Paint and assembly was a bit of a bear, but I got it done... Had to make a few modifications, as the hydraulic rams are not strong enough to support it's own weight... I had a feeling they wouldn't, but I was hopeful... Anyway, until I figure out a way to do it, I just put some skewers to hold it up while I photographed it... I'm happy with the overall build, though... Almost done....
  3. Thanks, Bro... I appreciate that... Definitely what I was going for... Balance and overall presentation... Just wanted it to look good... Thanks, again...
  4. Thanks, Bud... You know what's funny? I must have used the tires for something a long time ago... I don't recall even seeing them in this box... Thank God for Moebius!!! ? Yeah... I figured that... I almost used the wrong turntable... Glad I caught that mistake early on... And thanks... I have 2 more in this series to build... ? It's all good, though... ? It's come a long way from the box photos...
  5. Awesome, Randy... I presume you got your package, then...
  6. Got this one off ebay... Had to pay for it, but I do love orange... Till Walmart gets a crop of them, anyway... Before... After...
  7. Got this one, today, in the mail off ebay... And yes, it is orange...?? 1/24 scale Motormax... Odd... I had to read the fine print on the back to confirm it was, indeed, a Motormax... The ebay listing said it was, but I wasn't sure till I got it...
  8. So nice when you look in the box and see a lot less parts than when you started... The finish line is so close! ?
  9. This is looking really cool, Man... Really cool...
  10. Very nice work, Sir... Very nice...
  11. You're looking really good, Man... Very nice work.... Weather you go frameless or otherwise, this is going to look good... Very clean work on the dump body...
  12. Looks like you're getting off to a very crisp start... Just that one assembly looks so clean... Awesome...
  13. Well, Boys... The boom is finally under construction... This is one really crazy kind of model, but it has really been a fun build... It's that model you've never built before, you know... Just vague instructions and no numbers on the parts is making it rather difficult with all the mods I've made... But, I press on...
  14. And they wonder why UPS and FedEx are actually, MAKING money...
  15. Found this one at Sam's, today!!! Couldn't believe it was there... I was there, yesterday, and didn't see it... But it ain't there no more... Mine!!! Man... $15!!!!
  16. O range O range O range!!! I vote for Orange!!! Orange for President!! ? Saw this baby on Pinterest.... Maybe this will help you decide...
  17. Got a 1/18 scale Mustang police car from Sam's, yesterday... Still unbelievable for $15....Another one of Maisto's fake police interceptors, but still pretty cool... Then I got this old 1/24 scale Trans Am from Wally World, today.... More like 1/23 scale, but we all know about Jadas..Again for $15... Not as great a value, but I don't have one, so....
  18. Absolutely amazing.... This is one very nicely done engine...
  19. Too cool... This is one excellent piece of work, Man... Awesome... Very impressive...
  20. That is a killer looking setup... I really like what you've done with these "snappers"... They really look good, together... And I'm really liking that trailer... It is much more detailed than most 1/32 scalers... I'll have to try to get one of these... I've never seen a container trailer in 1/32 scale... Gotta get one...
  21. I do like that program... Very nice renderings...
  22. LOL!!! Trust me... I was looking for some burnt orange to do this one in, but for whatever reason, I haven't been able to find any in Duplicolor, so I just went with what I had... However, the thought had, indeed, crossed my mind... ? Hoping to be a UT Dad, here, pretty soon... My daughter is a Senior in high school, now!!
  23. Thanks, Bro... I appreciate that....
  24. Man, that is incredible... Super small... I had some 1/72 scale aircraft that could have used a truck or two in their displays... Very nice work...
