  1. I just got my order for these, and I had to turn to on getting one of them built up... I have to say, this is a very long awaited offering, and I am VERY pleased with it... There was a little bit of flash here and there, but over all, I can't complain about anything... It went together very quickly, too... One of the easiest kits you'll ever build... And with the option to build it with camber or without, makes it even better... The extra frame rails will come in handy for a scratch built flatbed, as the rails are the hardest parts to fab up!! But that's another build thread...? I'll be building this one with the cambered option, and will be using super singles... Love the box art... It came with a little bit of flash... Not something typical of Moebius, but I'm ok with it... It's very easily removed... Got the frame rails in and fastened to the deck... I decided to cut out the back end.... Assembled the suspension and the tool boxes... All of which only took about an hour to do... It only took me three hours to get to paint... The camber is very subtle, but it is cambered... Paint was pretty straight forward, as only one color was used... I just need to paint the air bags and rear dock bumpers.... The bulkhead and mud flaps... The super singles they offer go together very easily, as well... I added a little tape to keep them from coming apart, should I not have glued them together properly... I think they came out real nice... It really looks good behind my Lonestar.... After decaling and a makeshift load for photos, I think it looks quite good.... Looks good behind my Lonestar, my Prostar, even my 579... I can't wait to use these frame rails for my next scratch build...

  14. Man, I miss these... Great job on it... I'd love to have the two that I used to have back... Not only were they huge, but they were very nice builds... I built one when I was a kid, and I really wish I still had it... I'm really liking yours...
  15. DUDE!!!! You have my attention with this one... Absolutely amazing work... Not only is it 1/50 scale, but you have tackled a snorkel unit in BRASS!!! Man,... I am constantly amazed at your work.... I love die cast, so you're really speaking my language with this baby... Awesome!!!!!

  18. Unbelievably... I was able to get most of the dump body work, done.... I got some paint slapped on it, and I'm ready to add all the peripherals and such...
  19. LOL!!! ? It's funny... I, indeed, am running low on orange paint... ? I had a couple of cans of Duplicolor medium blue, so I went with that, this time... It has been in my stash for about 4 years, and I was surprised that it was still good.... Thanks, Bud... As I told Jim, I have, sadly run out, but I figured I'd get rid of some other paint that has been sitting around for YEARS....? Thank you, Man... I'm having a blast with these reissues and newer kits that have come along, lately... Still waiting for my Moebius 48' flatbeds I have on back order... Can't wait to see what I can do with those...
  20. Thanks, Bud.... I think you chimed in just as I was uploading an update.... Come on in and see what's new...? Can't wait to show it to you... You need to come by and pick up that rear door setup, anyway...? Thanks, Man... I just added more....
  21. Got a bit more done, last night... Noticeably, I changed my mind as to what type of dumper I wanted to build... As I was building it, I thought about the higher volume dumpers I'd seen a lot of after Hurricane Harvey that frequented the roads in the aftermath... I just had to do one... Anyway... Here's where it went...
  22. Man... I'm constantly amazed at the detail y'all put into these things... Amazing... Very nice work on this truck... Man, those tires look good...
  23. Dude!! That is a KILLER model... Very nice work.... I'm loving it...
  24. I decided to build another 38' dumper... I had one that ended up being left at my X girlfriend's house... "Sucks, but I can always build another one", I said to myself... 3 years later, here we are! I want to build something like this... I will be building my own dump box, for this one and saving the kit version for another build... Here's what I have, so far... This (below) is a frameless dumper, but mine will have a frame and the triple axle, as well... First we have to extend the frame... I know the plumbing is all wrong... It's mostly for effect, anyway... If I don't say anything, nobody will know... I think it looks the part, so far... Now, on to the dump body!!! Gonna pair it up with this...I had to use a piece of flat styrene to get the frame straight, so openings had to be cut... Now, it's straight, though... I just had to do it the hard way, I guess...
  25. This looks amazing... Awesome work on that butterfly hood... Very nice work...
