  2. I sorted out my missing engine parts, and main body color is sprayed. I figure if your trying to fly below the radar, go fast colors might not be a good idea, so I went with a more subdued semi gloss color I had.
  3. ....and soon this '64 T-bird. 😁
  4. Just brought home this '66 Pontiac Lemans four dr hardtop. 326, auto. Ps,pb.
  5. I just remembered that I did a thread on my Hubley models, so I didn't need to dig them out from the bottom of my closet.
  6. Absolutely beautiful 😍. Great job!
  7. I actually have more than I thought I did. The black 49 Ford and Mercury were from about 1980, the rest are early to late '80's. I have an amt 69 Chevelle that I restored, and an amt 57 Ford that I recently pulled apart for restoration. The Jeep and the 56 Ford are two of my favorites. I also have a number of Hubley Model A Fords, 32 Chevrolet, and a Packard that I built with my dad from about 1975 through 1980. All brush painted with Testors bottle paint. They are all boxed up at the bottom of a closet, so no way am I pulling those out for a quick pic. 😁

That is beautiful. I have built the other two amt offerings, but not the sedan.
  9. Absolutely stunning. My sister has one, her first car when she turned 16. It needs total restoration now, but I am planning on building one like she wants hers to look. It isn't an XL, so I will need to change a few things.
  10. Thanks, I was looking for something a little more classic in the wheel department and found these leftover from the Revell 1969 Nova.
  11. Thanks everyone. Even though it took as long as it did, and isn't perfect, I am happy that I finally built my grail car.
  12. When I started finishing my 60 sedan delivery, I found that the chrome tree also included the bits for the 59. I wish I had noticed this earlier, I might have used some of them because of better detail.
  13. Beautiful job! I grew up with Model T Fords and a number of years ago, on another forum, I mentioned that I wanted to build one of these. A few days later this showed up in the mail. He had built one a few years before that, and sent it to me as a gift.
  14. Thanks, and yes, it was a bear to do the foil work. I love cars from the age of excess....until it's time for the foil work.
  15. Thanks again everyone.
  16. Thanks everyone! Yes, it's the Flintstone body. All I can say is you need to do a lot of trimming to different parts of the chassis to get it to fit right.
  17. Thanks everyone. I found a car online that was the inspiration. The wheels, engine, and the steering wheel all came from the Monogram '59 Caddy. I also incorporated a 1961 Impala hood into it.
  18. 2025 is off to a better start. This resin body was a pain to get everything to fit. But, it only took two years off and on to finish.
  19. Here is my one and only build from 2024, and it only took me four years off and on to finish.
  20. I finally have some progress. The chassis is coming along, and of course the basic mock up. Spoiler, it won't be a go fast color, 'cause you can't fly under the radar with any of those. πŸ˜‰ I won't be able to finish the drive train due to missing engine parts. I boxed this kit up from various new sprues and did not notice that the top end of the engine was missing. I had another glue bomb engine but I can't get the heads, valve covers, and intake off. So I will put a request in the wanted section.
  21. Lots of work going on Tom. The Plymouth is my favorite one of the three.
  22. I love these kits I have built 2 coupes and a sedan delivery. I also have a big box of parts and rebuilders to eventually build....unless I send them to you. πŸ˜ƒ Keep up the good work !
