  1. Well? Or are you fixing the hood...for a second time. ?
  2. Here is my 67 GTO. Still haven't figured out interior colors yet.
  3. We had a '73 Century growing up. I really liked that car. I will be following this one.
  4. Dan,Dan, Dan Dan Dan!!! You can hijack anytime with a pic like that. ? I love the color combo and that the dash is all trimmed out with Impala trim as well as the wheel. ? Our family has had a total of four different '59s. My grandfather bought a Belair sedan brand new. My older brother had an Impala hardtop as a teenager. My dad had an Impala convertible when I was young, and I had a Biscayne sedan for awhile. My grail is the Elcamino. This was my inspiration. It has '59 Corvette steering wheel, wheel covers, and fuel injection.
  5. Ricky, I already said it was a messed up job, that's how. ?
  6. Finally, progress! I'm calling the interior done. Flocking didn't turn out the way I wanted, but hey, you won't see much anyway.
  7. Great tribute Brizio. I didn't know him very well, but won a few of the silent auctions. Missed you at the show earlier in May. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with this kit. I know it will be amazing, no matter what.
  8. I love what you have done with this. I personally love a lot of the old AMT and Revell kits that many complain about. Call me nostalgic....or crazy, it wouldn't be the first time. ? Be glad you didn't start with the poorly "re-popped for Lindberg" version. It looked like it was molded out of recycled milk jugs. ? But...it turned out as one of my favorite builds... On another note, you have inspired me to build a '63 Impala. ?
  9. Jim Make it a really good beer? Then finish the thing up and stick it on the shelf. Leave your anal retention where it belongs...in the toilet. Sorry, couldn't help myself. ? Besides, it's a beautiful blue. ?
  10. Nice job. Love the color, and I always wondered what it would look like with the kit custom pieces.
  11. It looks like he got the roofline better on this than the 60 Chevy. That is a beautiful sedan delivery. I might get me one of those.
  12. Nice coupe! All that work is really paying off. My dad had an overhead valve banger in a 30 coupe when he was younger. At 70mph he would break a piston skirt every time. He said it got to the point he could put a new piston in it in 30min on the side of the road. ? I don't know that I would want to go 70 with mechanical brakes. ?
  13. Pentax, Olympus, Minolta, Konica, Nikomat... ?
  14. Over the years I have had way, way, WAY too many projects. Some "finished ", most just moved on from. Current projects, 1937 Buick special. Right now it's for sale. Do you know how big that thing is ? Way back burner is a 1966 Mustang, 1942 Ford GPW, 1963 GMC step side, and 1972 BMW Bavaria. Like I said, way too many....and don't get me started on the motorcycles in the garage....
  15. I will be following along as well. I plan on building one with the Indy pace car look.
  16. I am really glad you revived this thread. I bought a boat load of 1/8, 32/T kits/parts about a year ago. All are in various stages of destruction other than one untouched kit. A LOT of turned aluminum engine parts included. You are helping a LOT with ideas as well as construction. PLEASE finish this thing, and if you think you might need a part, check with me.
  17. I really like everything you have done, both to the Olds and the Malibu. The third generation Malibu is one of my favorite.
  18. She certainly gave me some ideas for when I build mine. Hopefully mine turns out as good as hers.
  19. Suhweeeeet !!! ? ? ?
