Dan,Dan, Dan Dan Dan!!! You can hijack anytime with a pic like that. ? I love the color combo and that the dash is all trimmed out with Impala trim as well as the wheel. ? Our family has had a total of four different '59s. My grandfather bought a Belair sedan brand new. My older brother had an Impala hardtop as a teenager. My dad had an Impala convertible when I was young, and I had a Biscayne sedan for awhile. My grail is the Elcamino. This was my inspiration. It has '59 Corvette steering wheel, wheel covers, and fuel injection.

I love what you have done with this. I personally love a lot of the old AMT and Revell kits that many complain about. Call me nostalgic....or crazy, it wouldn't be the first time. ? It looks like he got the roofline better on this than the 60 Chevy. That is a beautiful sedan delivery. I might get me one of those.

Nice coupe! All that work is really paying off. My dad had an overhead valve banger in a 30 coupe when he was younger. At 70mph he would break a piston skirt every time. He said it got to the point he could put a new piston in it in 30min on the side of the road. ? I don't know that I would want to go 70 with mechanical brakes. ?
